The main level has ½ bath, a cozy living room area w/queen size sleep sofa, dining area that seats 6 and up to 8,modern kitchen w/granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher and outdoor patio.
The Upper level has master bedroom w/queen size bed and en suite, 2nd and 3rd bedrooms w/full size beds and full bath. The upper level also has washer & dryer. Within walking distance to Shaw/Howard U Metro Rail, Convention Center, Downtown attractions, including the White House, Monuments, Skateboard Park, Whole Food, and Restaurants in every direction! This vacation rental sleeps 8. After a day of taking in the sites, working or family gatherings, winding down in this lovely vacation rental is the place to be! Two parking passes for street parking available. This property is only 3 blocks from the metro and just a 15 minutes drive to DCA airport.

Wonderful place!

We visited DC with our family of five and two grandparents. The location was wonderful, easy subway walk. The house was so well equipped with anything we could need it was SO helpful. Truly loved staying here, it felt like our cozy home to cook dinner and hang out at the end of long touring days! Highly recommend!

Great Place!

This is one of the nicest places I’ve rented. Jonathan is a great host and responded quickly to any questions I had. It was clean, and had lots of towels, blankets, soaps, lotions, snacks, coffee, tea, spices, water, etc. The neighborhood felt safe, even when we walked it at night. I would definitely stay here again if I return to DC.

Great place for attending a conference

Four of us - scientists attending the annual meeting of our association - chose to stay at this wonderful place on Rhode Island street. It was about a 15 minute walk which was great to get some exercise in before sitting at the conference all day. After full days and evenings with our respective duties at the conference, we four would come together in the late evening to decompress with a glass of something strong before bed. We cooked breakfast and had a spaghetti dinner at the VRBO, which was well equipped and an easy place to stay. Wonderful, and compared to the convention hotel, was half as much per person per night in terms of cost.

What a great house to rent for a few days! The house was very clean and spacious, it looks just like the photos online and even better in person. The owner was also very responsive to questions we had and very accommodating! If you forget your toiletries, he has you covered as well. Lots of amenities! Don’t stay in a hotel, book this house! You won’t be disappointed!

There is not a thing that was lacking. Jonathan is so responsive. Easy street parking. Such a comfortable retreat at the end of very busy days. Perfect for our family. Grandkids Explore DC

Spent the week exploring museums, ballgames, food carts, monuments and people of the District. Such a wonderful time and the weather could not have been better. This house was situated in a perfect place. Easy access to the Metro and close to restaurants and the library was an extra bonus. The house is expertly equipped with everything you could need and we loved the small amount of time we spent there! The host was easy to get a hold of and answered quickly any questions we had. Definitely a place to book on your next trip to DC!

Great base for our Washington Stay

We had a fabulous time in Jonathan's house. Everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for the welcoming snacks and drinks. I'd agree with a couple of other reviews that said the front bedroom can be a little noisy as it faces the road. But it really wasn't an issue and our girls still slept well there. The house is very spacious and felt like home away from home. It is only a short walk from a range of restaurants and a supermarket and the neighbourhood felt safe. It was easy to get in and out of central Washington - either walking, the metro or by using Uber. We would definitely recommend Jonathan's house to any other visitors to Washington. We had a fantastic time.

Great place to stay

Everything is superlative about this home. It's immaculately clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, with items you don't normally find in vacation rentals, like plastic bags, cleaning materials, spices, bottled water, etc. The host is very responsive and very thoughtfully provides tons of snacks, too, which my grandchildren loved (and the adults too). The home is in a good location, not far from the Smithsonian mall and near a metro station, grocery store, and restaurants. The only downside might be parking. The host provides a parking pass, but parking can be challenging if you try to find a space after, say, 6 PM. However, I was able to find a space eventually every night and felt safe walking through the neighborhood, but you need to pay careful attention to the street signs. But if you aren't driving, or are going to just park once and leave the car, then no problems!

Perfect Home Base for DC

This house was absolutely perfect for our trip to DC. The metro was super close and easy to navigate, which was my top priority. The neighborhood felt very safe, the beds were super comfortable, and this was the most well-appointed house I have ever rented. Tons of extras including water, coffee, snacks plus shampoo and conditioner and everything else you'd need, especially if you fly in! Highly recommend this property if you're looking for space but want to be close to all the attractions.

This VRBO is well located in Logan Circle and easy to walk to local places. The place comes very well stocked with water, snacks, and toiletries. The linens were very clean along with plenty of towels. Worked well for our girls trip to DC.
