The decor is soothing and relaxing in the blue tones with white-washed furniture and hardwood floors. The outdoor area includes a table with 4 chairs, a gas BBQ and views the bay. Literally steps from the sand this property is located in the most desirable location on the Balboa Peninsula between the Balboa and Newport piers. Just one house away from the ocean and a short walk across the street to the Marina Park & bay. Depending on the time of year, you can hear the waves crashing on the sand at night. Newport has something for all ages whether you come to relax or take in all the activities it has to offer.

Our Newport beach location offers it all!: Family friendly beaches with miles of sand & sea for swimming, sunning, surfing, volleyball, sand castle building and people watching. The boardwalk is fun for biking, rollerblading or walking. Discover crabs, shells and other sea life at the nearby jetties. In the evening, enjoy a crackling fire in the designated fire rings on the beach while roasting your favorite treats and sharing stories. Basketball, Volleyball, and a kids playground is just one block away from this charming beach retreat.

Shops, grocery stores, restaurants, fine dining, nightlife, bike-kayak-boat rentals, harbor cruises, chartered fishing boats, Catalina Island tour boats, the ferry to Balboa Island and the Balboa Fun Zone (one of California's oldest coastal amusement parks) are all within walking distance. This house was in the best location!! The house is fantastic and has every amenity you need for the beach. Washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, all of the beach supplies you need for the best day at the beach. We needed nothing!! Have never stayed at a place where the host has been so thoughtful and generous. Terry was thoughtful, kind and incredibly understanding. The house is clean, cost and our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. The walk to the beach is around the corner, on a quiet road. We were safe the whole time. Perfect place for anyone. We were there with our kids but it would be great for all ages. It has a darling patio on the front porch with a bbq grill and table and chairs the host allows you to use.

Incredible location!

We have two younger children (3 & 5), and being so close to the beach on the ocean side, the bay side beach, and the incredible playground right on the bay was perfect! There's a small market right around the corner for essentials and so many walkable restaurants.

Adorable, super clean and convenient

We enjoyed our stay. We parked our car once and walked all over. There is plenty to do around the area with the bay across the street and the beach behind the house. The cottage was very clean and supplied you with everything you need for the beach. No neighbors above you as it is a one story home. We will be back!

This was our second time staying at this property and the location is just SOOO GOOD. Steps from the bay and the beach. Not too close to the pier so there arent as many people which is nice. Has everything you need for a great vacation. Plan to stay again many times.

We just stayed 3 nights and it was lovely. The beds were comfortable and it is as advertised. Cozy but everything you need and imo much better than a hotel for that price! Half block to the beach and the Newport area is great for walking and my kids even went in the freezing ocean! Easy to find parking and communication with Terry was also a breeze.

We really enjoyed staying at this adorable beach house! It was perfect for my husband, my 12-year-old daughter and me. Street parking was not difficult to find, and being able to walk out the front door and be on the sand after a one block walk was fantastic. The beach there is beautiful and huge. We also enjoyed the dining recommendations from Terry.

Charming Beach House

We had a wonderful stay. The house is just around the corner from the beach. Very conveniently located to everything. The house has all the amentities you need. It's nice to sit out on the patio in the evening to look across the street at the bay. It's very safe and great neighborhood. Would highly recommend.

Almost Paradise

Great location and perfect for 4 people. Home could use some upgrades and some TLC. It has everything you need in the kitchen but bathroom was sparse (towels). No reserved parking but that wasn’t too much of a problem. Furnishings were very dated and worn.
