The house is located near the village, shops (bakery-pastry shop, grocery store, bar-tabac, press, farmers market, restaurants), medical office, post office. You can, within a radius of a few kilometers, visit many tourist sites: classified villages (Domme, Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Rocamadour, the medieval city of Sarlat and its large bi-weekly market), castles (Beynac, Castelnaud, Fénelon ), prehistoric caves (Lascaux, Fond de Gaume, Les Eyzies and its National Museum of Prehistory, Lacave, Gouffre de Padirac) and several remarkable gardens (Eyrignac, Marqueyssac de Cadiot gardens. The Dordogne river is located below the village, it allows swimming, canoeing, angling. Several cycling and hiking trails crisscross the region. Markets, restaurants and farms in the surrounding villages allow you to discover the products that make Perigord cuisine famous (geese, ducks, truffles, porcini mushrooms, etc.). Children can enjoy several amusement parks (aquariums, zoos, tree climbing).
You will appreciate the Dordogne both for its outdoor activities, its sites, its landscapes and its gastronomy.
