Welcome to Serenity Now! 5BR, 2.5 baths and hot/cold water outdoor shower. Completely remodeled with new furniture and beds; upstairs and downstairs living space; ELEVATOR for seniors and disabled; pack n' play and highchair for the baby; beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs for all! Kitchen is fully equipped and BBQ allows for easy family meals. Enjoy huge covered, wrap around decks and ocean views from nearly every room! Just 10 minutes from downtown St. Augustine and 5 minutes to shopping and golf! Sleeps 10 comfortably. Relaxing, impeccably clean, and light-filled space will be your Serenity Now! June through August, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are generally WEEKLY rentals (Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun), but please inquire for shorter stays.
Note: Service and emotional support animals and pets are not allowed because our family is severely allergic and asthmatic.

Lovely Home

We visited for three nights and had a wonderful stay. You can’t beat the view that comes with the home being placed directly on the beach. The house is clean and the host was very friendly and gave several suggestions to make our girls trip the absolute best. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful vacation home

This home is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. Everything was just as described. The host make sure this is a great trip. There are games and beach equipment there for you use. The best part is how awesome the Hosts, (husbandand wife) greets you with that, we are happy to assist attitude and help make your stay great. We actually met the housekeeper when leaving and she is awesome. We had to complement her on how clean this home is. Great trip. The McClendon family and wife

My whole family and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving at this beautiful beach house. It was immaculate, spacious and well equipped. The beach was steps away, and the sand was pristine. Will definitely be back again.

Wonderful Experience

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The home is situated on what feels like a private beach. The entire process was a breeze and my family loved our time at the home. Everything was clean and well-equipped. I highly recommend - the view alone is worth it. And you are incredibly close to St. Augustine and to a grocery store. Great for families - my children ages 2 and 5 loved it, and my parents were able to enjoy the mornings viewing the waves. It made our pre-Disney World beach experience perfect.

Family Weekend

I spent the weekend at this property with my wife and extended family to visit friends in the area and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. The house was more than enough space for 8 of us and the location was perfect. We make this trip annually and I will definitely consider staying here again next year.

Family getaway

Great house!!!Elevator great for older family members. The area in back to the beach is alittle steep for older members, but just sitting on the deck and watching the waves is priceless. Everything is a close drive. Communication was easy and helpful. Would suggest to anyone and would come back again. Thank you!

Summer 2024

This was one of the best places that we have stayed at. The property is well maintained and has a fantastic view. The beach front is just what we had hoped for. The host, Marla, exceeded all expectations that we had. Unfortunately part of our stay was during a tropical storm but Marla checked on us and kept us posted. Really made us feel safe and informed. We will be back in the future.

Wonderful Family Large Home on the Beach

This is our third summer using this place. It has everything you need and even some things you don't know you will need. The appliances are all rather new and work well. They always have a grill with tanks which we use a few times a week. The view is fabulous and the beach in front of this house is never crowded. The kitchen is well equipped and the double washers and dryers are so helpful. Highly recommend.

What a view!

Amazing house! The location was one of the best we ever stayed in. Close to everything and private as well. The beach was literally steps away! The home was comfortable and cozy! The host was amazing to work with, very accommodating. Our family will definitely be back!

Family Fun Time

Our whole family, 3 years old up to 68 year old grandparents, 11 people total spent Father’s Day Weekend here at this beach house! It was great! It was spacious and comfortable and very accommodating to our family! We enjoyed the ocean, sand, and beautiful breeze from the porch! A perfect weekend, our dreams came true!!

Lovely home, lovely host, perfect trip

The house is perfect, we loved the location and the sunrises, beach days and walks on the beach were absolutely unforgettable. The house was well stocked, an abundance of linens and towels, really loved the laundry room, loved the outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach, beds were comfortable, lots of movie nights spent on the comfy couch, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Common area of the open kitchen to dining and living room area was great, enough space for all of us to feel included and together despite times of doing different things. I’m sure my three boys will continue to rave about this home, the beach front and our stay until we come back again. My grandparents also throughly enjoyed our stay. This was perfect for a quiet, relaxing family beach trip. Thankful my grandparents were able to enjoy their great grand children and spend time together. Ms. Marla and her team are wonderful, they truly made our stay one of ease and comfort. Thank you all so much. We loved our stay thanks to all of you. We hope to come back again soon and explore more of St. Augustine!

This house was just about perfect! Marla was a great host, the location is perfect (only 4 minutes from a Publix and 6 minutes from downtown St Augustine), the linens and towels were in abundance, the kitchen was lacking nothing (I even used a garlic press!!), the beach toys and supplies were ample, the laundry room was impressive, and the view out the back of the house was amazing!! I would go back in a heartbeat. We stayed in a home that was run by a vacation rental company and the difference between them and Marla was so vast. I’d probably never rent from a big company again. Marla made such a difference. She loves her property and her guests.

Can’t Be More “On The Beach”

Wonderful home that was perfect for our trip. The house was clean and had plenty of towels and linen. The views and sound from the back deck were perfect for reading, sipping a drink or just enjoying the waves. You felt almost on top of the waves at high tide. We grilled one evening and the gas grill was spotless and worked perfectly. We tried to leave it just as clean as we found it. The garage had plenty of beach chairs and a few beach toys. Plenty for us. There is one issue that really didn’t affect us at all. They are doing a beach recovery project just north that is slowly working their way south. We heard the “beep, beep” of the heavy machinery backing up but otherwise it didn’t interfere. It will eventually get down to the house and would probably ruin a trip as they worked through the night. The owner is on top of it as she asked for a pic at the end of our stay to gauge how far away they are. Wonderful house.

Wow!! Great for families!

For starters the communication with the property owner is excellent. We asked to arrive a couple of hours early and our request was granted. This property is literally on the beach; so location is perfect. This is the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. And they have everything and more you would want; chairs, beach toys, ocean toys, kitchen is fully stocked, porch has tons of seating, towels galore and on and on. Such a beautiful property!

Great home and very attentive host

This home was great for our family of eight adults and two infants. The location couldn’t be beat, right on the beach, and a short drive to old St. Augustine. We had a concern during the stay, and the host very quickly responded, and made everything right. We would definitely stay again.

As the name "Serenity Now" suggests, we are big fans of Seinfeld. We live for the belly ache laughter found with good friends while on vacation together. House boating, New Orleans, Cabo, African safaris and music festivals are our favorites. Whether it's a girls trip, guys trip or family vacation, travel is our number one guilty pleasure. It doesn't have to be fancy, but it must be clean, comfortable, offer good food, interesting sites and fun activities.

Why they chose this property

We searched all of Florida to find the perfect location. St. Augustine is eclectic, historic and young at heart. Flagler College contributes to the academic and artistic vibe. Old moss trees and spanish architecture make it beautiful. Great music festivals and concerts flow through the town. Farm/sea to table restaurants offer wonderful eateries. Golf, NASCAR, and football are nearby. Our beach is pristine with a long stretch of white sand that is practically private. The ocean behind our home is perfect for swimming, fishing, and offers a terrific break for boogie boarding and surfing without being dangerous for little kids.

What makes this property unique

We bought and remodeled this home to meet what we would want if we were renting a vacation home: space for the kids to hang out, an elevator to make life easy for the grandparents or those who can't walk stairs, a long covered porch perfect to shade the babies while allowing mom to be part of the action, enough sleeping space for multiple families, and a hot outdoor shower at sunset! Just walk down our back stairs and you are on the beach- NO long walk over dunes to get to the beach- ultra convenient!
