We have used this property multiple times now and I highly recommend! Host (Anita) is very responsive and just a stress-free process all the way thru. Great home for the price!
Great common area for relaxing, nice bedrooms, good general layout! Could use a bigger trash can in the kitchen, but otherwise had everything we needed. Thanks!

Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed the location and stay!
We loved our stay! The views out of the back deck were amazing and there was ample space for our family. We appreciated the extra steps for cleaning and our kids loved the bunk beds. Thanks for making the check in/out process so seamless. We will be back!

Thank you and great to hear! We are glad you enjoyed our home as much as we do. We would love to have you stay again!
We had 7 adults, the property accommodated all very comfortably. It was beautifully decorated, with ample items to prepare food. Parking was not a problem. I would stay at this property in the future, a great location with access to all ski resorts in summit county. Vail was only a 30 minute drive.
Couldn’t have asked for a better property! Loved that it was out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to visit all the near by towns! My own suggestion was it was confusing who to communicate with, the property owner or management agency. Would recommend for large groups as we had plenty of room for 4 adults, 3 teens, and 2 younger kiddos!

Lyndsey,
I'm glad you guys had a great stay! Book by Owner is your first line of who to call. They are up in the mountains. As the owners, we are second line. But, are always willing to help out when we can. We hope to see you guys back!
This is our second year in a row staying at this beautiful house for a pond hockey tournament in Silverthorne. Both years have been amazing. Will definitely keep renting the same house! Thank you!

Thank you! We appreciate the kind feedback and are happy that you enjoyed your stay.
Second time staying at this house. Owners are fantastic and responsive. Great location. I gave it less stars this time as the hot tub seemed to have not be thoroughly cleaned in a while. 3 of the people in my party ended up getting rashes all over their body from something, we assume the hot tub.

Nicco,
We are happy to hear you were happy with out townhome. We are sorry to hear about the hot tub. The hot tub is scheduled to be cleaned between every guest. There were 3 jets that needed replacement. Perhaps, this is why. Again, our sincerest apologies.

Could be great, property needed updating
We are a family of 8 and decided to stay here for our family ski trip.
Check-in:
Check-in was challenging as there are 2 condos with the same number, I would recommend calling the staff line they were very helpful.
Pros: Good location and amazing property manager/ staff. They have a text line which saved us on this trip as most of the appliances were broken upon arrival or on their last legs. The location is also good for ski resorts.
Cons: 4 appliances were broken upon our arrival and it took 3 days to get things back which changed our ability to cook. Did not have enough towels. The shower upstairs also has black mold so be careful of that. The shower curtain fell on my sister while she was showering. The dishwasher also wasn't working well so we had to hand wash our dishes. Also, do not expect shampoo and conditioner they only have 2 3 oz bottles so if you have hair that is insufficient.
Check out: Simple and effective.
Overall, thankful for the property managers who responded promptly to our requests and complaints when things were broken but If you want a vacation where you don't have to be on the phone with people trying to get things fixed I would not recommend this spot as we spent a lot of time trying to get basic amenities working.

Desperately Needs Updated, Owners Not Good to Work With - Stay Elsewhere
We had many problems, starting before arrival. We had added & paid for an additional night, the host doesn't show the payment however I have verified that it left my account. They're still not refunding my damage deposit because of this. Night 1: Carbon monoxide detector went off, after much testing & research we determined that the beep code was indicating that the monitor was old and needed replaced. We were able to remove the batteries to stop the beeping. The next morning, the hot water boiler broke, leaving us with no hot water the entire stay. We talked to mgmt, they offered to move us to a new residence in Keystone, but it would've been a large out of pocket expense for us, with no guarantee of refund. This was also on the day of my daughters wedding rehearsal, and the timing wasn't feasible for us to move that day, especially since the guests in this house included the bride, my 92 year old mother in law, 9 month old grandson, & wedding decor. We showered at other family's hotel rooms to make do and boiled water to wash dishes. 4th night, the smoke detector went off 3 times 12-4 am and each time we had to evaluate and make sure there wasn't a fire. While we understand things happen, the series of all this made the experience rough and could've been avoided with basic maintenance. Owners not at receptive to issues, hard to work with, claim they've gone 8 days without shower so no big deal. Showers are basic amenity of renting. VRBO leaves it up to owners to rectify.

Don't recommend
My issue with this property begins with the trash situation. There's a tiny trash can under the kitchen sink on the 2nd floor. There's no bin at the property. It is located 100 yards in a community location. Which is fine, but we weren't told and had to ask the property manager. They were gone from work for the day and got a response when they came in to work. Next we were warming our car in -4° Temps that was parked in the garage. A neighbor called in to tell on us saying our garage door was open too long and was going to bust the pipes. The car was running for 20 minutes. The next call was that our truck wasn't pulled back far enough to allow people to pass by. Total fabrication. We left the truck that was parked further out where it was, pulled the other truck out, and drove right by it. The truck was parked as far out as it was because it had a hitch that we didn't want to accidently hit the garage door with, so we were sure to be far enough away. I was told to move it or it will be towed.. Then upon leaving the property, the very next morning, I get an email saying they are keeping our damage deposit for a "shattered" shower door. I didnt even get a picture of it. I stayed in the room myself with my wife. All deposits were on my card and I was the one who handled all of the logistics of booking this property. Ask if you would shatter the bathroom door in your room as a 33 year old man with a wife and kids and all responsibility of the property on you... Yeah, I know I didn't either, but maintenance said it was me so I get to pay and that's how the property owner handled the situation. I don't recommend this property.

I'm sorry about your experience. The owners next door weren't able to get into their town house due to your extended truck. When renters ask if we take extra large trucks we always tell them they won't fit in our garage. We only charged you your $300 deposit for the shattered bathroom door the cleaners found. Best of luck on your next rental experience.
We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, the hot tub was clean and worked well, and we had plenty of space! I would recommend this rental for families for a relaxing vacation!
What a perfect place to host our children and grandchildren for a week. No need for a car most of the time since we could walk to trout fishing the Blue River, used their bikes on the bike path or walk it, walk to church or the Trent Park playground. We loved it!
We enjoyed the close proximity of this house to multiple ski resorts as well as to the town of Silverthorne. The staff was very kind and helpful as well.

About the host
Hosted by Anita Rumph
My husband and I bought this amazing property to regain our connection with nature. The skiing, hiking, and the Blue River are exceptional, and our home is surrounded by all of these. We hope you appreciate the beauty of this area as much as we have.
Why they chose this property
The townhouse is located in a serene area with trees, mountains, and a creek. There is a walking/biking path and you can take a mile walk for coffee or eat at Sauce on the Blue; amazing restaurant. The inside of the townhouse has an open feel with high ceilings and lots of wood which gives it a great Colorado feel.
What makes this property unique
If it is rainy there is covered hot tub with many drink holders to sit and relax and watch the rain or snow. Ski areas are very close. There is sledding hills or cross country skiing. Hiking is abundant. Outlet malls are very close. A fun recreational center is very close too. There is church as well as medical center not to far off too. The townhouse has a very unique niche that has something for everyone to enjoy.
