We celebrated a birthday with family at this beautiful well-appointed house. It was such a memorable stay. We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
We had an excellent stay at this beautiful property. It is a great set up for families or groups of friends. The views are stunning and the house had everything plenty of room and everything we needed. Will definitely be back next year.
The location was amazing and offered us more than enough space for us to be both together and apart. The house and grounds were beautiful and relaxing. We so enjoyed out weekend. In addition, David was very helpful and accommodating. We will be back again.
It is a spectacular place. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was having to take your shoes off inside the house. We knew this was a requirement going in, so everyone was aware of it, but older people without arch supports and in socks on hardwood floors is not a good combination. We really wish they would reconsider this requirement for everyones safety and comfort. Otherwise it was great. Perfect for family gatherings.

It was a pleasure hosting Michael's group. Thank you for your review and feedback. The safety and comfort of our guests is a top priority. Indoor shoes are always acceptable for those who need them for comfort or medical reasons. We will try to make this information more clear in the future.
From the moment we stepped into this magnificent VRBO property, we were blown away by the sheer scale and luxury that greeted us. This house is massive, offering ample space for large families or groups of friends to spread out and enjoy without ever feeling crowded. The attention to detail in every room made it clear that the owners spared no expense in outfitting this home. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly want or need, making it a home away from home. From the fully stocked gourmet kitchen that inspired us to cook and dine in, to the entertainment options that kept us engaged during our downtime—every aspect was thoughtfully provided for.Staying here was an absolute pleasure, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
We held a reunion for the United States Military Academy (USMA) Class of 1980 Company H-1 members and the site was everything we could have asked for. The banquet room was perfect for both our barbecue dinner on Friday night and our more formal sit-down dinner on Saturday. The wrap around porch provided everyone with sufficient space to enjoy the sunsets in the evening. For all who attended it was an exceptional event and Dave was the perfect host. We definitely plan to come back when we plan our next reunion in northern Virginia.
This home is so impressive, and not just because of its size. It is carefully thought about and the details are gorgeous - the view, the floors, the decor.
We did have a couple issues with the fridge; it was a little small and we would love to see something a bit deeper added! We also struggled to get our ice cream to freeze the first night.
The beds are super comfortable and entering is easy. The owner greeted us and made sure we completed another walk-through to be super familiar with everything and receive the gate code in person which made us and our guests feel safe.
We would definitely stay here again and hopefully next time get to see more of the STUNNING VIEW! There is never enough time to soak that all up. Many thanks!
This property was stunning, and so perfect for a weekend getaway for me and 13 of my bridesmaids. The home was spacious, extremely clean, and (unlike many rental properties I've stayed in previously) well-appointed and decorated. It felt like an actual home, and even in bleak cold February, we woke up to beautiful views all around the house. The theater room was also such a nice added feature and I wish we had more time to take advantage of it! The location is only about 1.5 hours from DC (only about 30 minutes from IAD), making it super convenient for friends to fly in, and just up the road from Bear Chase Brewery (highly recommend), Bluemont Vineyard (also recommend) and the Appalacian Trail Raven Rocks hike (another recommendation). We never really had to leave a 5 mi radius. Even though we had a bit of a snafu with the check-in, David was extremely apologetic and accommodating and I could tell he really wanted us to have a great experience. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family in the future!

House for Bridal Party
Turning into the driveway and moving toward the house you are greeted with a majestic view of the valley below the Blue Ridge Mountains. On arrival, the owner greeted our group and showed us around the house and property . This beautiful house easily accommodated our group and there was not sense of being crowded and living on top of one another. The house was very clean and the owner checked in to make sure our group had everything we needed once we had a chance to unpack and settle in. We greatly enjoyed the hiking trail, the amazing home theater and rec room in the basement, and having meals on the back veranda while enjoying the scenery of stacked stone fences on the property. This home has a very tranquil feeling and the surrounding countryside was so peaceful and quiet. Although we were in the area for a wedding at a local vineyard, there seems to be a lot to do in Loudoun County and when we are able to return, we will be checking the availability of this amazing home for our trip. I give this home and the owner an A++ and would strongly encourage you the stay at this fantastic property if you are able.

Thank you for the kind review. It was so enjoyable to work with this group, and exciting to be a small part of a special event! Congratulations and blessings!
I elected to do things ‘my way’ for a 50th birthday celebration. There was no desire for a big party. What I wanted the most was a space I could invite my closest friends to relax, connect, rejuvenate & explore. Mont Salvat gave us ALL of what I desired & MORE! The host David, was kind, warm, informative & extremely attentive throughout the whole process (from booking up until the time we left) to ensure all of my inquiries were addressed to guarantee the most comfortable stay. From the breathtaking views seen through the floor to ceiling windows, to the master suite that is fit for a queen & king…to little details such as numerous throw blankets placed strategically throughout the property. The beautiful estate exuded class and warmth inviting you to explore every inch of the property to take you deeper & deeper into sheer bliss. My friends (all 14) could not stop talking about our weekend & time together at Mont Salvat. It’s be a time we’ll always cherish together. If you are looking for a tranquil oasis to host a wedding, family reunion, a group getaway retreat or just needing some time away to refresh… THIS is the property for you. It won’t disappoint!
The property was just beautiful with scenic hiking trails. We enjoyed the fire pit and star gazing at night. The area is just beautiful with lots of rolling hills and vineyards. Everyone was so friendly and the host David was very accommodating and the house was fully stocked for us to have big family dinners there all together. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Fabulous time for my Fiancé’s Fabulous 50th Weekend!!!
The property was breathtakingly beautiful. Everything was better than advertised, clean and perfect for our family gathering. The host David should was responsive and answered all my questions. He is classified as a Superhost, but he is a Super-Superhost. Everything was great!!!
We enjoyed the house for our girls getaway weekend. The kitchen has everything you need for making large meals and there is plenty to do without even leaving the house. I wish we would have taken advantage of the movie room. That would be perfect for watching a big game together. And the hot tub was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views. The location to local wineries and restaurants is also great.
This is the perfect property to stay in for a weekend getaway with friends and family. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could want for a rental property. The home has a beautiful kitchen/dining space for dinner parties, bathrooms in almost every bedroom, and an awesome entertaining space on the lower level. The hiking trails are also fantastic for fall hikes. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay!
Our stay in Bluemont was the cornerstone of a 3 week tour to visit family and celebrate the 80th birthdays of our mothers. The property was exceptional and had more amenities than we could ever take advantage of during our 5 night stay. David was steadfast in adherence to the house rules to assure future guests could continue to enjoy the property, yet was also very proactive in assuring we had a pleasant stay.
I gathered with 15 friends for a weekend celebration and we could not have enjoyed David's property more! It was spacious and comfortable -- plenty of beds, bathroom, lounge areas, and recreation areas. We used the hot tub, watched a movie, made a delicious meal, visited local wineries -- couldn't have had a better experience.
A wonderful house that held at one point 16 with ease. Loved the ground floor "movie room". We played croquet on the lawn and went for a great ride in David's "vehicle" We loved it all!
Evan Gray (the 90th Birthday guy)..
Traveled with parents and family for our son's wedding. Peaceful place with room to accommodate all family members with plenty of space and privacy. The host was a wealth of knowledge concerning the history of the area as well. Immaculate home!
This property was wonderful. The grounds and house was spotless upon arrival. The pictures are very accurate to what is offered. I used the space for my group and it was perfect. The banquet room was the perfect space for dinner. David was extremely responsive and helpful before and during my stay. Highly recommend this property.
We had an amazing time during our 4 night stay here. The views were beautiful and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is beautifully furnished and has lots of activities for everyone to do and plenty of space indoors and outside. David was very helpful and accommodating with our requests. We highly, highly recommend this property. Our guests were all very impressed.
