"Peaceful & Private in Perdido Key” is a quite, renovated beachfront condo located in Perdido Key, Florida with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico from nearly every room, thanks to it's open floorplan. Our 2 bedroom and 2.5 bath property sleeps 8 and has been recently remodeled into a modern, minimalist getaway that is designed to put your mind at ease. Kick back and relax on our quiet stretch of the beach, in our comfy home and private decks.

"Peaceful and Private in Perdido Key" is in a quiet 6-unit building, Solana Shores, with over 100 yards of private beach. Right next to the ocean, Solana Shores is nestled between single-layer residential homes and a 2 mile state park full of sand dunes, sea oats and natural wildlife - wonderful beach strolls! You will feel like this is your very own beach - perfectly private and peaceful even during busy times! The second best feature of Solana Shores is that it's just steps from the ocean, the views are perfect from the deck (and just about any room in the condo), and the ocean sounds easily sooth you to sleep. Plus, with only 6 units, there is no long waits for elevators - as there are only stairs. Only thing you have to wait on is the sun to set. And our top corner unit faces west so it's easy to kick back on our private deck and bathe in the setting sun.

Perdido Key, aka "Lost Key", is one of Florida's best kept secrets! Perdido means "lost" but it's magic won't be lost on you. Located between Pensacola, FL and Orange Beach, AL, Perdido Key is a barrier island that is still fairly private and not fully developed, yet it has modern conveniences and restaurants to enjoy. With pristine, hourglass beaches and emerald blue water, Perdido Key is likely to become your next favorite vacation destination. "Peace in Perdido Key” has been described by many as a special place - with many repeat guests who like to think of this place as their home.


THE SPACE:
Recently renovated in a clean, modern, minimalist style - clean and peaceful.
Open floor plan - we knocked down walls to open up the view!
High quality finishes with quartz countertops in the kitchen, granite in bathrooms, and sliding "barn" doors for some of the closets.
New furniture and bedding - comfortable to relax.
Large and open kitchen - fully stacked and well appointed, additional ice maker, large capacity stainless steel fridge and dishwasher.
Master - comfortable queen, day bed and trundle
2nd Bedroom - 2 sets of bunkbeds with pull out mattress to sleep 5. (*Extra! 2nd bedroom has beautiful views of Ole River, passing boats and colorful sunsets too!)
Full sized laundry - washer and dryer.
Bring your own beach towels, please.
Bed linens and bath towels are included.
Wireless and TV apps provided
Guests may use any available condiments, spices, oils, soap, etc that is out and available

Summer is rented weekly, Saturday to Saturday for the months of June, July & first half of August. Outside those months, we have a 4 night minimum with any day being your check in. We are open to renting monthly for the months of November, December, January and February.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and in our opinion it's simply the best rental in the area: comfortable size for a family of 5, perfect, unobstructed view of the Gulf of America, and one of the lowest traffic sections of the beach. Great views and location. We traveled here for a local wedding. The easy access to the beach was perfect and by far the closest we have ever stayed to the beach. This condo would be PERFECT for little ones too. We have a 1 year old and kept saying how this would have been great to bring him considering how close to the beach we were and how chill it was on the beach never to the state park. Bed: very comfortable Space: very open Kitchen: lots of spices, and kitchen-wear Location: one restaurant across the street so something is walkable.

This is the place!

No surprises here, maybe better than the pictures! Everything was super clean. The view from the balcony's was incredible. You can't beat the location, even on weekends the beach was never crowded. Just a good feeling place to stay on vacation. Hope to stay here again!

We loved our stay! It was myself, husband, 16yr and 13yr old. The condo was awesome. It was well stocked with everything you will need, very clean, spacious and right on a PRIVATE beach. The only negative thing I have to say is the mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows were small and flat. I would still definitely rent this condo again

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

I am always looking for a place that feels like a home away from home for my family of 5. The home is cozy and the layout is perfect. It felt safe. It is closer to the beach than I thought. We could sit on the balcony and the kids would run to the beach to play football. We could talk to them from the balcony. The beach was not over crowded at all even being next to a public access. We were all so impressed and would book this property again.

Condo wasn’t as pictured… it was better. Communication and check in process with the host was spot on. The condo itself has all the amenities you would need to feel at home - kitchen has all cookware etc needed to make meals, furniture was all very comfortable and the tv has an apple tv so you can stream anything. Wifi worked well too. The location was exactly what we were looking for - close to restaurants and grocery but most importantly, it’s next to a state park so you have plenty of beach without inhabitants - beach felt nice and private. Overall, highly recommend this stay!

This condo was clean, decorated beautifully, organized and well stocked... I cooked every meal and this kitchen had almost everything I needed ! Also the spices that were allowed to be left were such a convenience! Felt like home .... ! Master bed was a little hard and deck was not covered but with all the sliding glass doors you felt like you were outside ! Courtney was quick to respond to questions and check out was a breeze ! Our favorite yet!

Been coming to the panhandle with our kids for 15+ years. This is the first place we stayed that we all agreed was a perfect amount of space with all the amenities we needed and a great location for our needs. My kids don’t love pools, so that wasn’t an issue. We also enjoy buying seafood at local markets and cooking many days on our own, so that was perfect too. We have three kids, 15,13,10 and felt like the addition of a half bathroom downstairs was icing on the cake. I could go on and on about the little things we loved and worked well for us including the washer and dryer, bunk beds, two full bathrooms, all the seating throughout the condo, etc. will def be renting again!

This is our second time staying at this property and we are likely to return. Location is great, close to everything but proximity to the state park makes it a relatively quiet stretch of beach. We really enjoyed ourselves!

This is a great place. It has a lot of extras that really make the difference. Location - still close to everything but its a lot more private that Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Private Beach - There is a public beach access one lot over, but there are clear signs that keep most of the non-residents in the public area. The building only has 6 units. Full size washer and drier, newer appliances, and lots of kitchen appliances. Its very clean. We will be back.

We love to travel and to decorate/renovate properties. We combined these interests and the result is our new(ish!) condo in Perdido Key that we are just now offering for rent. It's been a labor of love indeed. Happy to share! As for our travels, it's usually all about the view and the food - Good food is key and views really make a stay exceptional!

Why they chose this property

This property is a great location - very private and peaceful.

From Courtney:
I grew up in Mobile, AL and was often traveling to my family's beach house on Ono Island in Orange Beach (built in mid-70's and still hanging in there!) After decades of coming to the area and marrying my husband Darin on a large fishing boat by Robinson Island (back when it was a bird sanctuary), we fell in love with the privacy, lack of high rises and wildlife that Perdido Key offers. When we found our condo, it was a diamond in the rough because it needed a full renovation. But we had a vision! The property reminded me of nostalgic Frank Lloyd Wright-esqe architecture from the late 70's and early 80's - something about the steep diagonal ceilings, moon lights and interesting angles took me back to my childhood. When I saw this place for the first time, I could see past all the renovations that it needed and a feeling of nostalgia washed over me. We have taken our time renovating the property - removing walls and reconfiguring the space to open it up to the stunning views. We love it so much and we are excited to finally share with others!
