A well-appointed second story apartment overlooking the Rappahannock River in Middlesex County north of Urbanna and Water View. Coastal farmhouse-styled open concept with full kitchen, living and dining spaces, 1 full bathroom w/shower, king bed, and twin bunk beds (separate bedroom).

Access to small beachfront. Great for kayak launch and beach time on the river. Access to an outdoor courtyard with dining space and grill, a dock to watch the river roll by, and an in-season veggie garden.

Staying at the Loft is truly an "unplugged" experience. Bring your own hotspot/MiFi for internet as needed.

20 minutes to Urbanna. 1-1.5 hours to Richmond, Williamsburg, and Busch Gardens. Near Buoy 11.

Stays up to one week available. Owners perform extensive cleaning between guests. 3 days is scheduled between guest check-ins and outs to allow for cleaning.

We can recommend a nearby nice kennel for pet parents.

The Stables' property has been in the family for over 30 years. The loft apartment was constructed in 2019.

Proximity to all the wonderful towns and festivals of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. A very peaceful, rural coastal setting.

A perfect launch point for small watercraft on the Rappahannock River. We welcome members of the Church of the Double-Bladed Paddle. Bring your own kayak and gear.

Urbanna boasts wonderful restaurants and shopping, a gallery, a marina, and a delightful mini golf course.

In proximity to three golf courses, the Chesapeake Wine Trail, and the Oyster Trail.

15 minutes to Bethpage, one of America's leading campsites.

1 hour to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. 1.5 hours to Richmond and Richmond International.

As pet parents, we understand that it is important to be close by to your pets when you travel. We recommend two kennels in the area - Dobe Run, a 20 minute drive (for short term stays), and Sandy Creek Pet Resort, a 35 minute drive.

During COVID-19 quarantine, we recommend picking up groceries and supplies at the near by Food Lion in Saluda or Urbanna Market in downtown Urbanna. There are quite a few local restaurants open for take-out and following Virginia by stage guidelines. Middlesex County is mask mandated.
