About this property

Casa Esperanza - spacious beauty with bay views

Beautiful almost 5,000 sq. ft traditional style Mexican colonial house with lots of windows/ natural light /breezes and privacy due to design. House is located in a great location near the east end (quieter part) of the Malecon, up the hill off Palmira (Coco Beach/ Palmira Marina). Large rooms, 3 bedrooms with their own bathroom. 4 bedrooms with own a/c, 1 without. Close to the nice beaches! Great for multi-families or large groups. We love this neighborhood. Neighbors all pitch in to hire a local Security guard Agustin who keeps an eye on things and will do any little odd job (wash your car etc...). The new Torres Cantera development is on the street in front of us. House is located on a dirt road, drive is paved until last block. Warning: last block street is a bit rough. A very quiet neighborhood as far as parties or loud noises, loud parties are rare, but we do have a few (typical) barking dogs.

Great place

Place is huge great for a big family. I loved the area, beautiful view from the top terrace. Communication with the host was as necessary but great. I definitely recommend this place. I would stay there again.

A great week in La Paz

The house is located close to the city center in a very quiet area. The house is very large and very well equiped. The owner, Merc, answers very quickly to any messages and can provide advices. We were in family, 10 people in the house and we spend an very nice week in Paz. Leaving with unforgettable memories !

Why they chose this property

Beautiful and spacious colonial style house on side of town close to great beaches! There are many other great restaurants close by. If you catch a fish and have it filleted, Tailhunter on the Malecón will cook it up for you. Molenito and Vrentino are the closest. We like to get our water from San Jose del Esterito (also a laundrymat) off Jose Francisco Madero between Republica and Vicente Guerrero. There are smaller markets nearby but the closest large supermarket is Chedraui Palacio, 6.1 km away (15 min drive). Walmart, Liverpool Galleria mall, Sams Club and Home Depot are a straight shot but 11 km away and about 23 minute drive depending on malecon traffic.

View, view view and space. Large house can handle big groups or small groups who want space.
