Recently completed construction with brand new furnishings, linens, and hot tub, Bluebird Lodge is the ultimate find for the discerning traveler. Perfect for two families, this North Shore vacation rental offers the convenience of a ground floor living space (no stairs from the garage to kitchen), two Primary suites, and two additional bedrooms sleeping up to six children.

Centrally located in a peaceful Carnelian Bay neighborhood, this spacious retreat is outfitted in calming neutrals and reflects an ideal mix of contemporary and mountain aesthetics. Tree filtered lake views will inspire you to get outside and explore, then gather together after a day of adventuring. Sink into the comfortable great room sofa and catch the game on the generous sized wall mounted television, or cook a gourmet meal in the kitchen, outfitted for all your needs.

Downstairs, take advantage of a second family room with sectional sofa, television, art/game table, as well as access to the ground floor hot tub. Adjacent, a large game room contains a pool table that can be converted for ping-pong, along with a wet bar. During the summer months, dine outdoors on the upper deck, or watch the sunset from a chaise lounge, cocktail in hand.

We enjoyed our stay at this very clean, well-appointed property. All the amenities with excellent beds for a family of all ages. 5 or so minutes to the lake and 20 minutes from Palisades. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

This place is beautiful! The layout is perfect for 2 families. The decor and amenities are top notch and it is so clean, which is extremely important to us. The neighborhood is great. It’s close to the lake, Tahoe City, and Kings Beach.

Beautiful and Spacious for Family Time

Loved every minute in the home. The open kitchen, dining, and great room was perfect for our large family celebration. Hardly got to use all the amenities. Definitely coming back again!

Amazing 2nd stay

This is our second time staying on this property and it's very well kept and spacious. We love the location central to everything and Tahoe getaways is always attentive. The spa was not turning on and they sent someone within a couple hours who was super friendly and got it working. We will for sure be back to this property. Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Very roomy. Such a fun place for a large family get together. The management company was very responsive, professional and courteous. We had wifi go down while working from home and they were right on top of it and worked to get a reset modem code from spectrum within minutes of my call Thank you. Would definitely return

Incredible Lake Tahoe Home for a Big Family

We just enjoyed an incredible week in North Lake Tahoe at this gorgeous property. This was the perfect home for my large family to have a relaxing week at the lake. The home is huge, spotless, well-appointed, and in a nice location. It’s right in between Tahoe City and King’s Beach and 7 minutes away from Gar Woods. We loved having the hot tub, pool table, lovely deck for outdoor dining, and spacious kitchen. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have some privacy. We will definitely be coming back.

Blue Bird Lodge

The hot tub water was merky and didn't get above 96 degrees. The house did not have AC and often sat at 80 degrees inside in the afternoons. The house was gorgeous and lovely in every other way.

Future guests please note that we operate 7-days a week to assist when things are not right. Had we known that the hot tub was murky, we could have done an extra service on the hot tub for these guests.

Amazing way to celebrate

Stayed 2nd week of July, 2021. Super easy check in, house was ready a bit early too. We found the house well cleaned and ready to enjoy! Amazing property, great floor plan for multiple guests/families. Super convenient location, close enough to restaurants, shops and beaches. Quiet neighborhood with afternoon shade to enjoy the large decks. Great hot tub, game room and movie room with awesome surround sound. Home has all the amenities you’d expect, exception being air conditioning. We were there during a heat wave, house was pretty warm but not unbearable, cooled down nicely after sundown. Fans in every room helped, will not plan to visit in the heat of the summer in future years. Highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Lovely rental property!

If it were an option, I would give this rental property a 4.5! We (2 families) spent 1 week at Bluebird Lodge in mid July. Overall, it was a great experience. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and thoughtfully appointed home in North Tahoe. The decor was tasteful, we had a partial lake view off the large, beautiful deck, the interior layout was spacious, and most everything we needed was at our fingertips. Communication with Tahoe Getaways before and during the stay was excellent. We did encounter a couple of issues which is the reason I gave 4/5 stars. The sheets in all of the bedrooms had an unpleasant odor; musty, like they may have been left in the washer too long before going in the dryer. To be clear, we did not contact Tahoe Getaways regarding this, we simply washed all of the sheets in provided washing machine and the problem was resolved. The A/C wasn't quite up to the task of effectively cooling the house (it was 100 degrees outside the day we arrived) We followed the provided instructions to close the blinds and open windows in the evenings when the outdoor temps lowered but some of the afternoons were a bit uncomfortable. Despite these hiccups, the house itself is lovely and we appreciated the clear communication and thoughtful touches. We would stay in this house again and will certainly book with Tahoe Getaways in the future! With a few small improvements, this would easily be a five-star stay.

Amazing House with gorgeous view!

Our group of six adults and one child were extremely comfortable in Bluebird Lodge. Everything about it was pristine. The beds were comfortable. All of the linens were new and we loved the down comforters on the beds. Unfortunately, the fireplace did not work in the master suite, but the suite was gorgeous. The house is finished with real hardwood floors and very high quality furniture, kitchen, and bathrooms. They could use a few more panse for cooking, like a non-stick skillet and one more medium/large sauce pan. The great room is very expansive with high ceilings. The hot tub was clean and lovely after a day of skiing.The neighborhood was lovely and it was close to Tahoe City and Kings Beach. We enjoyed the short 20 drive to Alpine Meadows for skiing. Tahoe Getaways has exquisite service and we appreciated them working with us on our late check out. We would definitely rent this house again. It was by fare a 5 Star experience particularly when the sun rose in the morning over the lake and painted the sky many shades of pink. Thank you Tahoe Getaways!!
