Villa Valhalla - 400 meters from the beach with a big heated pool and sauna!

Villa Valhalla is located just a few hundred meters from the beach on the edge of the Landes pine forest.

With its beautiful heated swimming pool, pleasant garden, sauna and well-equipped, Villa Valhalla has everything you need to make the most of your holiday in the south-west.

Labenne Océan is the hidden pearl in the landes with it's beaches much less crowded and wilder than the beaches further north towards Capbreton and Hossegor. With the forest and it's cycle paths you can stroll among the pines or enjoy the sea air and have your walk at the beach along the Atlantic with the sound of the waves.

Capbreton is only 30 minutes by bike via the cycle path, and various shops (Petit Casino, bakery, grocery store, bar, restaurants, bicycle rental, surf school etc.) are less than 1km away.

Swimming pool, sauna and outdoor area

Villa Valhalla has a large 12.5m x 5m heated swimming pool, exposed to the sun from morning to evening. The swimming pool is located in the middle of a beautiful garden with lots of space around it to put your sun loungers or play games like soccer or badminton. The pool is heated from 1st of May until 31st of October.

If you feel like it, there is also a sauna inside. So you can do a sauna session and then dive into the pool to cool off before drinking something nice from the lounge chair.

There is also a covered terrace which overlooks the garden and the swimming pool where you have a large dining table and a bar with a plancha/bbq.

Bedrooms

There are 5 bedrooms at Villa Valhalla, one on the ground floor and 4 upstairs. Each bedroom has its own dressing room and wardrobe for your belongings.

Bathroom and WC

Upstairs there is a shower room with WC and on the ground floor there are two bathrooms, one with toilet, and a separate WC.

utility room

In the utility room you have a washer and dryer if you need during your stay as well as a large freezer. There are also all the necessary household equipment like vacuum cleaner and broom as well as household products.


Activities and leisure

If you want to get out of your lounge chair by the pool there are a multitude of activities or things to do either in Labenne Ocean or in the vicinity.

Surf

Landes beaches are known worldwide in the surfing world for having some of the best waves in the world. With these sandy beaches there are possibilities for surfing all along the coast. But Labenne is particularly known for these quality waves, even sometimes reserved for the more experienced.
If you are a beginner or want to start surfing there are several surf schools in Labenne Océan and the possibility of renting boards.

Bike

Villa Valhalla being on the edge of the pine forest of the Landes with these multitude of cycle paths you have a large choice of walks to do.
You can follow the cycle paths to visit neighboring villages like Capbreton, Hossegor or Ondres or even if you want to go to Bayonne.
For the more athletic and who loves mountain biking there is also a large network of "single tracks" in the Labenne forest. The Labenne mountain biking club is one of the largest in France and maintains this large network, and every year on July 14 they organize the RandOceane Labenne. And there are also many outings to do for those who prefer road biking.
