Safe Neighborhood Close to Everything

This property is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood and was a quick drive to everything we needed.The property owner was kind, provided detailed instructions, and was very easy to work with.

Double booked

Owner called the day before our scheduled stay to inform us that they had doubled booked the rental. They didn’t want to cancel our reservation so told us we were to stay in their home instead of the advertised space. As we had no time to make alternative arrangements we agreed. Owners were home when we “checked in” and gave us a tour. They were very nice but we felt uncomfortable staying in their home with all their things. They had cleared off a few shelves in their refrigerator for us. We were told what rooms we could / could not use. Again, just very uncomfortable feeling and not what we paid for. The space was bigger but full of owners’ things and not as clean as you would expect for a rental. We ended up leaving one night early and informed the owners. They offered to refund us 1 night if we agreed to not add a review. They failed to provide us with a refund. Based upon prior reviews this isn’t the first time this situation has happened with this property. Rent with care.

Wonderful Property and Hospitality

We had an absolutely perfect stay in CO Springs. We were visiting our cadet at USAFA and Glynese's home was the perfect location. We were 6 minutes from the North Gate which made going back and forth very easy. The home was beautiful and very comfortable for us. Glynese was a wonderful host with great communication. I highly recommend this home to any USAFA families—just as long as it's not during the times we plan to visit! 😉

Fantastic Stay

The pictures do not do this place justice. Checking in was a breeze. We walked in and immediately felt cozy and welcome. There was more than enough space for 3 of us. We did not use the hot tub or media room - we were out and about a lot. We loved having a full size fridge, and being able to log into streaming on the TV in the living room. Thank you SO much for a wonderful stay.

CS Vacation

Not a VRBO residence, Main issue was the residence was under remodel. Also shared location with another couple. Thought we had home to ourselves. No common areas, but noise from both directions.

Perfect getaway!

This home was beautiful, cozy, and had great amenities. It was a great base for my kiddos & I to explore the area. They loved coming back to the hot tub and movie room! The hosts live upstairs and were super kind to share many, thoughtful restaurant recommendations. My kids are begging to go back soon! Oh- the AC had an issue while there. It did not impact us at all but they were great to communicate it well, had extra fans, and it was fixed right within a day.

Our stay in Colorado Springs

We really loved this accommodation. Great location right near the 25 and nice easy access to everything. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Bed was REALLY comfortable and the coffee maker worked GREAT! Didn’t end up using the spa but it was ready if we had wanted it. Induction cooktop worked extremely well and dishes and pans were all top quality. Plenty of hot water in the beautiful bathroom and good pressure. Would sure stay here again. One thing that might make a difference for some is if owners could invest in some kind of wagon or cart to haul things from upper driveway to lower level door. We were on an almost 2 week vacation so we had a fair bit to haul down but this would not keep me from staying there again. In fact, we very well might next time we go up to do some more exploring in the next few years.

Welcoming

The space was very clean and comfortable. After driving 13 hours it was so nice just to be able to relax. They even had some light snacks for us so we didn’t have to worry about going out that night. The hosts were very kind and we loved our stay there

Beautiful Space & Great Location!

First of all, the pictures do not do this place justice! It is very fresh and clean on the inside and the media room was a great place to veg out with a movie at the end of the day. We didnt cook, but you could do light cooking if needed. The bathroom was fabulous and the outside space is beautiful. We werent there long enough to use it, but it was nice. The hosts were very accommodating easy to contact and left light snacks which was very thoughtful. The only downside with this property was that there isnt a separate thermostat for the space. The fans that are there to help werent enough to cool it down which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Other than that, it is the perfect location if you are visiting cadets at USAFA or the Northgate area!

Wow, what a find!

Photos and description were accurate. My husband, two boys (ages 15 and 13) and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful area and close to the Air Force Academy and Garden of the Gods where we spent our time. Host communicated and answered any questions in a timely fashion. We truly felt at home! Would definitely stay again!

Our hosts were attentive when we needed them; but left us to relax and enjoy Colorado Springs. This location is in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to everything. Whether its a visit to the Cheyenne Mt Zoo, Garden Of The Gods, or a quick excursion to Denver, this location was excellent. Bonus for my Texas travelers, there is a Whataburger just down road!

BFF Get away

I took away a star because the path from the car to the lower back entrance is uneven, slippery, dark and difficult to navigate. We had to use our cell phone flashlights to see the steps. I'm 64 and in pretty good shape, but at night or with daytime rain the flagstone was still a difficult path. The stones are unevenly spaced, of various sizes, too far apart, some smaller than my feet and a couple needed repair, creating a muddy step. Had I been older or carrying larger suitcases instead of just an over the shoulder weekend bag, this might have been a deal breaker. Everything about the inside of the home was lovely and the host was easy to communicate with and accommodating to our request for an early check-in.

Stop looking! This is your place!

First off, this space is amazing and very well appointed! Very easy to access in a very quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable and has the added benefit of a floor fan (we love moving air). There is a very spacious bathroom, workout room, theater room, very spacious living room AND access to the hot tub! Glynese and Clif are excellent hosts. Communication was superior and they are the nicest people you will ever meet. Nice touches include fresh fruit and a variety of other snacks. This was hands down one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had. Close to Air Force Base and Ft. Carson. Excellent sushi restaurant two blocks away. Stay here because of the huge space and amenities AND the exceptional hospitality of your hosts, Glynese and Clif. We will be back!!!
