New kitchen with all the amenities including built in bench seating at 6-8 person table and a flat screen TV. Grand Dining and Living rooms are spacious and welcoming. Sun porch is all windows, providing more seating, a game table and grand piano.

The library on the North side has a sectional, flat screen TV, pool table and wet bar with a cool vintage refrigerator.

The second floor has 2 wings, North and South, providing great privacy for guests. The 6 bedrooms are well sized, equipped with comfortable furnishings and located near adjacent bathrooms. The Master has a king bed with a view of Twilight Lake and a beautiful on suite bathroom with marble counters and hand laid natural stone shower floor.

The Deck with grill off the kitchen leads to the pool in yard. The front wrap around outdoor porch is fully furnished with dining and seating overlooking property and pool. Perfect for watching the sunsets. Private back yard and heated pool with both waterfall and attached spa. The outdoor shower is conveniently located and is typically the preferred place to shower in the warm weather.

The driveway fits 2 cars and overnight parking is permitted on the street. The house is 1 block from the beach, 3 houses from Twilight Lake and 2 blocks from town.

We fell in love with this home the moment we walked through the front door. We purchased it as our second home but soon realized we wanted to live in Bay Head full time. Our children grew up in this house and we welcome little feet running laps around the large rooms.

Why they chose this property

This house was our primary residence for 11 years. During that time we lovingly renovated both the inside and out. This is not your average beach house, it's a real home.

What makes this property unique

You will appreciate the old character of this home as soon as you walk through the door. It was built in the early 1890's and has a unique North and South side. The large rooms give our guests plenty of space to spread out. The pool is beautifully landscaped, adorned with flowers along the edge. It has an internal surrounding gate to give added security for little children when lounging outside. The location is ideal. One block from the beach and two from town, you can walk anywhere. You may even enjoy crabbing in Twilight Lake at the end of the street. Make our Bay Head home your dream destination!
