Clean with great amenities. Lots of extras to make the stay extra comfortable. VERY private and peaceful! It was a great getaway for us. This was our second time staying here, and even better than the first time!
This is a fantastic cabin in a nice location set up up with everything you need. It was easy to access and very close to the national park. The owner was very attentive more than other places we have stayed. If we ever decide to come back to this area, we would definitely rent this cabin again!
Kirk made our stay comfortable and hassle free. Great location if you are here for Bronco SuperCel!

Cozy Weekend Getaway
We absolutely loved our weekend stay at Bear Acres Getaway! The location is just minutes from some of the best restaurants, hikes, and excursions in the area—we spent a beautiful morning in Cades Cove. There’s still so much we didn’t get to do, like tubing, mountain biking, and horseback riding, so we’re already looking forward to coming back in the summer.Kirk was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The house was very well stocked, with plenty of linens and towels for our group of six. We were especially impressed that there was more than enough hot water for everyone—something that can be hard to find with a larger group! The kitchen was well equipped, and the living space felt cozy and perfect for spending quality time together. We also loved the wraparound upper deck—it was the ideal spot for relaxing and hanging out in the evenings.
Excellent communication from the host from the very beginning of the process. The cabin was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well appointed. A great value.Kirk even made sure there was a meat thermometer in the kitchen so we could cook our Thanksgiving turkey! We loved the privacy and the conveniences nearby as well. My family would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday!
This is a beautiful place. We have never stayed at a more comfortable, well stocked and beautifully decorated place than this. The hosts were super attentive and anticipated every need. They were also available when we needed them. Will 100% stay here again the next time we are in the Smoky Mountains
Beautiful cabin and a great place to stay. Secluded and private but close to downtown Townsend. Host was helpful and very considerate. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again when we are in the area!

Bear Acres Getaway
Beautiful cabin and a wonderful place to stay. Private and secluded but still close to downtown Townsend. Our host was very helpful and considerate. We will stay again when we are in this area.
I provided more detailed comments on the Evolve survey. But in a nutshell the cabin was perfect for our visit to the Great Smokey Monument National Park.
This is a great cabin, very clean & stocked with everything that you need. It is located on beautiful wooded acres, yet close to town & Cades Cove. The outside deck was roomy with comfortable furniture. The inside was very cozy & welcoming.
My husband and his father loved the cabin! Great location right in the edge of Townsend, but an actual private cabin. Not a carefully angled photo to make it look private. This cabin is as great as it looks! The hosts are super friendly and keep a very clean well kept and stocked cabin. We will definitely be back!
We had a great stay! This place is clean and comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable couches, and with nice bath towels and wash cloths. We have stayed many places and the linens are awful. Anyway, great time at a nice place.

Feel at Home
This cabin had such a comfortable, welcoming feeling. Great location off the main Hwy in a secluded area yet still close enough to town that you can be there in 3-5 minutes. Very clean cabin and beds that make you look forward to the days end.

Fantastic cabin!
We had a great time at Bear Acres! The cabin was beautiful with everything you could need for your stay. The location was perfect, peaceful and quiet up in the forest but only a 2 minute drive to Townsend. We had two brilliant evenings out at Company Distilling down the road and definitely prefer staying on the ‘peaceful side’ of the Smokies.
Great location, complete home away from home, owners thought of everything one may need during their stay. Close enough to "town" but secluded enough to not know it.
Interior stairs were a little tricky for us older folks.

Quiet and Clean!
We had an amazing stay at Bear Acres! The hosts were super hospitable and provided everything you can think of! Fully stocked kitchen, with pots, pans, utensils, Tupperware, paper goods etc! We cooked dinner two nights and it was a breeze with all the supplies. Everything was very clean and comfortable! We loved the indoor fireplace, as well as the fire pit outside! It’s very close to town with lots to do! We cannot wait to go back!
Kirk was personable and fantastic to deal with. He made sure we had everything we needed stocked for our stay, and that we knew how to use everything at the property. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Will definitely try to book again.

Quiet and Cozy in Townsend
The cabin is super cozy and well maintained. The owner’s obviously take pride in this property, and it shows! Super fun and leisurely outside setup-awesome deck and chairs, gas fire table, wood burning fire pit, grill, and picnic table! The cabin has comfortable furniture and was very clean. Great kitchen and washer/dryer. They provided basic toiletry items for comfort and convenience. The owner’s also gave very thorough instructions with pictures on how to access the hill/driveway as well as the cabin. The property is quiet and private, but still close to the main road, which was great! We will definitely return!

Such a wonderful weekend
We had the best time at Bears Acres Getaway! The cabin was so charming, clean, and accommodating! These owners have thought of everything its guests might want or need in a cabin rental! The city of Townsend was a perfect place to get out and explore with its lifestyle charm, and Cades Cove was the most perfect hidden gem to explore! You are also a 30 minute entertaining drive to Pigeon Forge to experience all the amenities the strip has to offer or Dollywood! We very much enjoyed our time within the township Townsend had to offer as well as the time on the outdoor porch blowing bubbles with our children, time spent on the porch around the fire pit, and time spent around the bonfire with s’mores!
The perfect spot! If I could give a higher rating I would
My family stayed here for 4nights/5days. It felt as though we were deep in the mountains away from everyone but in reality we were just 1 minute from the main road! The cabin is beautiful and the wrap around porch is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the outdoors.
Upon entering I was immediately impressed by how spotless this cabin was. It is the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. Our boys loved their space downstairs and the livingroom is huge!
The owner of the cabin reached out prior to check in and was available to answer any questions we had. We have been renting in Townsend since 2015 and this was hands down our best experience with a rental.
For future stays we will be booking this cabin again.
We had a wonderful time at thos cabin. This was a vacation for me and my mom. Cabin was easy to get to. Very clean and warm welcoming. Hoyse set up perfectly and everything you would need. Very clean and bed so comfy you fall asleep quickly. Great sitting on deck in rocking chairs. Definitly will rent again. This by far best cabin i have been in in the area.
