The property was amazing. You need over a week long stay to properly enjoy all the amenities this place has to offer. Everything was very clear, the supplies were well stocked and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great stay in a fabulous property!
The Bride of the Sea estate in Harwich Port is everything and more a family could want for a vacation getaway! From the beautifully updated historic home with so many nooks and crannies to explore, to the expansive outdoor activities to participate in, our family of thirteen enjoyed every moment! Tennis court, playground, swimming pool, secluded garden with a fountain and more, would have been more than enough, but when you add visits to other towns in Cape Cod, biking adventures, and seal watching, this was truly the best for core family memories. My husband and I shared the garage apartment a short walk across the driveway, and there was a pool house we didn’t use, that was lovely as well. If you’re blessed with a large family and are looking for a place to go and all be together, The Bride of the Sea is ideal!
My family of five and four friends had an amazing vacation at this home. It is absolutely beautiful. The accommodations of search that you never have to leave the home. It is great for entertaining. I would highly recommend this home. You are a short walk from the center of town. We would certainly go back again next year.
It was a great property, not fond of the location on the main street. Del Mar, extremely responsive to any call. Could’ve had a little bit better in the description of what was there and what was available on a daily basis I didn’t realize we would have someone come and make up the beds and give us fresh towels. I thought that was terrific and they did have plenty of beach towels I brought my own. I didn’t have to bring them. Tennis court was a big hit. Layout of the house was great.
A gathering of 16 women stayed at Bride of the Sea for a 5-night long weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday, and we had an incredible time. The home was immaculate when we arrived - and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate everyone with large spaces to gather or escape for some quiet time. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was ample, easily accommodating three cars in the garage and the remaining cars in the driveway spaces. Many in our group are hobby "chefs", so we enjoyed cooking several meals in the large and well-stocked kitchen. In addition, we hired a private chef for Saturday night who found the space easy to work in. We loved playing tennis on the private court, and also set up a portable pickleball net on one end. We also enjoyed reading on the porch and gathering around the fire pit in the evenings. The walk to the beach was easy and convenient, as was the stroll to nearby restaurants. We drove into both Chatham and Provincetown for shopping and lunch; the home is situated conveniently for access to other areas of the Cape. While we did not utilize the pool (too early in the season) or the playground (kid-free weekend!), they are both beautiful and well-maintained spaces. The school-quality playground with lush grass is dreamy for littles! Lastly, the rental company was extremely responsive. They were in communication with me every day by email and text. Overall, I highly recommend a stay here for a large friend group or extended family.
For a large group this property is fantastic. If you like to play tennis, swim at a poool, hang out by a firepit, and or grill at an outdoor bar waving Fiffa world cup 2026 this is a great house.Delmar was great to work with.It is an an older house and you need to remember this was built in the late 1800's.The kitchens were great. If I could spend someone elses money I would convert many of the bathtubs to stand up showers
