This 6-bedroom 4-bathroom secluded home is surrounded by over 15 acres of pristine coastal conservation land. Golf cart included to explore the seashore, neighboring golf club, and Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. This home is child and pet friendly and a great location for events such as small weddings, family or class reunions, etc. Home is equipped with 4 kayaks and is situated across from Onset Beach with amazing restaurants and shopping. Just minutes from Wareham Crossing Shopping Center, the Bourne Bridge, the Cape Cod Canal Bikeway, and lots of amazing cranberry bogs! Within an hour's drive to Boston, Providence and Newport, just 30 minutes to the Woods Hole Ferry Terminal to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, and just a 90 minute drive to Provincetown, MA. All sheets and linens and bath and beach towels are included. This home is fully stocked. The beds are made and the home is professionally cleaned and always move-in ready. Just set your luggage down, hop in the golf cart and head to the sandy beach!

We stayed here for our October wedding, and the location is even more beautiful than the pictures. The host and house manager were very responsive to our questions/concerns. All of the bedding and bathrooms were very clean. We used Minkle Bros catering, Ashley Spears photography, and Prime Tent, all were great! Plenty of outside space for our 40-person event.

The house is beautiful! The beach is calm and pleasant. The bay provides stunning views and access to everything you could ask for. Our families had the best week in the Osprey House. We enjoyed the large kitchen and dinner table, the BBQ, the sound system, ping pong, pool, and the firepit. There was everything we needed to make lifelong memories. We hosted our wedding celebration in the backyard with 40 guests. There are some local vendors which were great to work with (Apryl from the TarraDean Studio for hair/makeup, Minkle Boys Catering, and Northeast Party Rentals). The host Brian and the house manager were very communicative and friendly.

Beautiful spacious home! Host was very communicative and helpful. The beach and grounds were wonderful! Loved being able to use the golf cart for my older family members. The pool table, ping pong table and multiple tv rooms made it easy to vacation with a group aged 14 to 80. Thanks!

Perfect House for Multiple Families

We stayed here for a wonderful week. We had toddlers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all under one roof, and the layout of the house was perfect for everyone to have space and hang out in the communal spaces at the same time. It was a quick walk to the beach, and the town js locely, but honestly enjoyed 90% of our time on the property. Can’t wait to return next year.

Had a wonderful stay at Osprey Nest. The home is perfect for a family gathering, with lots of space for getting together but also with a layout that allows for plenty of privacy when desired. Check in was seemless and easy, the host was there when needed and invisible otherwise, and the house/grounds were exactly as described and had everything you could want. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Wedding weekend

Brian & Leah met in the early 1990's at Arizona State University and reside in Phoenix, Arizona where they raised their 3 children. Leah was born and raised near Des Moines, Iowa, and Brian grew up in a large family in Quincy, MA. They often travel back to Massachusetts to visit Brian's family, which led them to purchase their dream vacation home at the gateway to Cape Cod on Buzzard's Bay.

Why they chose this property

We are excited to share this beautiful home with you and your family and friends. Each time we come back to New England, we are always searching for the perfect vacation rental property to host our family reunions. After many years of renting vacation properties ourselves, we finally found the perfect home… so we decided to buy it. Since we cannot be here as often as we would like, we decided to share it with you. We know you will love it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

This home is called 'The Osprey Nest' because of the giant osprey nest sitting atop a pole in the conservation area in the backyard. A family of ospreys reside in that nest from March through September each year. This home is truly one of a kind. Nowhere else can you find this level of seclusion while being surrounded by so many nearby activities such as shopping centers, water sports, golf courses, water parks, etc. It's truly the best of both worlds. With stunning views of the famous Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge, this home will make you want to sip your wine on one of the three back porches and take in the sights and sounds of Buzzards Bay. Just minutes to the Bourne Bridge, the beauty of this home is that you do not have to cross the busy bridge to get to the home. During the summer months, the harbormaster's launch service will pick you up from your dock and take you to Onset Beach to dine during sunset, and then take you back to your dock after dinner. The private beach is soft and sandy and the water is so clear that you can see the ocean floor from 8 feet above. The only thing between you and the private beach is 15 acres of protected conservation lands. With dedicated paths throughout the conservation area, you can pull out the golf cart from the golf cart garage in the backyard (included with the home) and drive down to the beach with your coolers and chairs, or simply stroll 300 yards to the beach on foot. Take full advantage of the special events offered all summer long by the Onset Bay Association, as well as recreational activities offered by the Buzards Bay Coalition... right in your own backyard. You can also have bikes, kayaks or stand-up paddle boards delivered right to the home! You can drive the golf cart to Little Harbor Country Club to play golf, take a narrated cruise from Onset Beach down the Cape Cod Canal, or walk from the house to the Mass. Audubon Society's Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. It's your own Kennedy compound.
