About this property

Casa de San Pasquale, 1800s restored terones adobe

It has lights from the city's first Hilton Hotel, stained glass transom and a short hall that joins the original 1 room house with a second living room and kitchen (the restoration includes modern appliances, dishwasher and stacked washer dryer). The front porch faces the playground of the old San Felipe school and has it's own private back patio. ABQ and around
We spent a week visiting ABQ and Santa Fe and places in between. The casita we rented was great for being able to walk to places.

ABQ balloon fiesta
This casita was amazing! It was small but just right for 2 people. Nicely decorated. Location was wonderful, a few blocks from Old Town. Host/Hostess were amazing even leaving us some Biscochitos! Had a small porch off the front and a patio off the back. ALL nicely done. Comfy and clean. Can't say enough nice things about the whole experience.

Host profile image
My husband and I have been into historic preservation for over 40 years. We were both raised in Albuquerque and have worked on numerous projects and our home was featured on Restore America.
We love to travel (especially since our daughter lives in London!) and we almost always stay in short term rentals.

Why they chose this property

San Pasquale is located in the old Albuquerque area. We loved the character of the houses (it shares the lot with another building) and they hadn't been occupied since the 1970s. It is such a pleasure to have visitors be able to stay in a place that was the norm of residential architecture of the past.

What makes this property unique

The house literally has one foot in Old Town and one foot on one of the major corridors of more modern Albuquerque. There are great restaurants, shops and museums all within walking distance.
