Sleeps 6 comfortably (# of adults limited to 2) and right on the water-you won't be disappointed.
Summer vacation is at its best in this beautiful Newfound Lake waterfront cottage. Windows are everywhere for gorgeous views of the lake and there is even a comfy window seat for you to read a book or look out at the lake while you sip your morning coffee. There are two bedrooms; 1 queen in the master and 1 set of twin bunkbeds in the second room. A spacious loft has another 2 twins that can be used as separate beds or put together to make a comfortable king.. An ingenious retractable ladder. provides access to the loft. The cottage sleeps 6 but # of adults is limited to 2. There are two plush couches and a smart tv and wireless internet in the family room that is open to the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all you need including a stove, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Go to the closet and pull out a variety of games to play that are fun for all ages. Outside you have a grill and eating area with plenty of private land to play cornhole or catch. Relax in your custom white wooden Adirondacks and watch the beautiful sunsets. Best of all, you have a beautiful sandy beach and one side of a private dock for your boat! This cottage is part of an Association of 8 cottages that shares a large grassy island where you can set up volleyball or badminton. You can also swim out to the floating Association raft, but don't worry-it's not deep out there! Adults can walk out to that raft with their heads above the water so it is a safe swimming area for all ages. Rent kayaks, paddle boards or a boat and enjoy a tour around our calm bay or cruise up and down this spring fed crystal clear lake. Life at the lake does not get better than this. Rentals are generally a 2 night minimum for weekdays or weekends in spring and fall. Prime summer time is weekly rentals only (7 nights). There is so much to do in the Lakes Region. You can kayak, paddle board, boat, jetski, sail, fish and swim at the lake. You can hike the local mountains or jump 12 feet into the gorge at Sculptured Rocks. Head a little north to explore the Polar Caves or adventure to the waterpark. Pack a picnic lunch and spend part of day on some of the Wellington State Park walking trails. Tired of grilling? Just walk on over to the Big Catch to watch the beautiful sunsets while you feast on fried scallops and clams. Trust me, you won't ever run out of things to do...but the best part is that you do not have to do a thing! Sitting in your Adirondack and watching lake life go by is perfectly okay too. Come see it for yourself! Please do not hesitate to call or email with any questions.

My wife and I stayed for 3 days in September and we throughly enjoyed the cottage, the lake, and the surrounding area. The cottage is clean, well equipped, and Carol (the host) is excellent!
The cottage was perfect! Cute, clean, and such a great spot on the lake. Can’t wait until next year!!

This family came to the lake for the week and certainly made the most of it with boating, swimming, and more. They even were able to have their family stay at the cottage next door so it could be a family reunion and a vacation week! We look forward to having them back next summer.
This is a beautiful, well kept cabin right on Newfound Lake. It has a wonderful main living space with a big table, fully functional kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, cups, everything you need - plus a nice grill just outside the cabin), and living room with a couch and love seat. The two bedrooms were nice, each has an air conditioner and comfortable mattresses. The lake is steps away and super clean. Our kids loved swimming to the floating dock and using the kayaks we brought with us. The host, Carol, is super - great communication and lovely person.
Property is extremely clean and well stocked for anything you could need. Host on sight does an amazing job managing the property and the hard work is reflected in all areas. We can’t wait to go back Summer 2024. Beautiful spot on the lake with nature abound. We watched a bald eagle swoop down and catch a fish and the sound of the loons at night is peaceful.
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. The lake views, the beach, the cozy cottage, comfortable beds; it was perfect. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and in a beautiful, convenient location. Would highly recommend. Carol, the owner was very kind, responsive, and helpful.
Ideal setting with lawn, small beach, dock, raft, plenty of outdoor seating, swimmable, close to town, lake view. The cottage was very clean and as pictured. The set-up made maximum and smart use of the limited space. I appreciated the many drawers in the bedrooms and living room. It was nice not to live out of a suitcase. AC units provided plenty of cool for the hotter days. And it was nice to open all the screened windows on the cooler days. Carol, the host was great. Kind, available, responsive, respectful. Would definitely go back!
We were looking for a simple waterfront location for a quick weekend trip and Carol’s cottage fit the bill. Conveniently located just a few miles off the highway it provided a great home base for a few day trips to different corners of the region. The check in process was easy, the cottage was clean, and the lake lovely. The quarters are certainly cottage-sized, but for a few days’ stay, not a concern. For larger adults (like my hubby!) the shower is a tight fit! Overall it was perfectly suitable for our needs - and I truly appreciate having a real coffee maker as an alternative to the Keurig, thank you! We would certainly rent the cottage again - and bring the kayaks to explore the lake!
This was my family's millionth time vacationing at Newfound Lake, but first time staying at Carol's cottage. It was clean, homey, and the perfect location. Communication was smooth and we look forward to booking her cottage in the future! Our family had a fantastic week!
We loved our stay at this cottage! Very clean and accurate to the pictures. Carol was excellent and attentive in the check in and check out process. The outside sitting, beach access, and dock were amazing and really made this stay unforgettable. Our boys especially loved it (and even went for a quick swim before we had to check out!). Can’t wait to stay here again!
We loved our stay in this adorable cottage. Was exactly like the pictures. Lake was beautiful. My 2 young kids loved the bunk beds and swimming in the lake everyday. Thank you!
We had a great stay over Labor Day weekend. The house is clean and the location right on the water was fantastic. It’s a short walk to the Big Catch restaurant, which was an added bonus. Hope to be back next summer!
The cabin is very cozy well kept, everything you need to have a relaxing trouble free vacation. Newfound is one of the best lakes in the area. highly recommend
The house was perfect, it was clean and had everything you needed. The outdoor area was very nice with plenty of Adirondack chairs and loungers. It is steps from a small beach and dock which made things very relaxing and enjoyable. It was very easy to communicate with the host and I would definitely stay there again!
We made plans last minute and had a really wonderful time! Melissa was easy to communicate with, had great info and the cottage is beautiful (as is the setting)! Can’t wait for another get away here!
Located at the foot of Newfound Lake, this cottage is a short distance from Bristol center. Fine dinning and quaint gift stores offer something for everyone. The cottage is well appointed with comfortable beds. Given that it is located on the lake, the views from the cottage are amazing. Step outside and there is sturdy seating as well as a picnic table to enjoy eating food you cooked on the grill. A private sandy beach abuts a clean dock, great for mooring your boat, or just sitting to dangle your feet in the crystal clear water. My husband, granddaughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.
this property was terrific. the only annoyance was Vrbo wanting us to use an app to get entry code....app didn't work. Thankfully the property owner was on top of things and made everything run smoothly. Planning to return!
My family of five (kids 12, 16, 19) stayed for a week and had a blast. The cottage was perfect and fit us all. The kitchen was stocked with all you could need, and stove/oven worked well for the lasagna we made. Outdoor bbq being propane was a nice surprise. Dock and chairs out front at the water are priceless. Coffee and cocktails in the chairs will be in our memories throughout the winter. Highly recommend this rental.

We try to provide all the essentials for a great vacation at the lake, so it is nice to hear that it had everything you needed. We welcome this group back again next summer. Come see for yourself just how relaxing those adirondacks on the water can be!
Our stay at Melissa's cottage was a very good one.The view, beach and boat slip ptovided us with all we needed to enjoy our week of vacation on beautiful Newfoundlake. The cottage was well equipped with everything anyone would need. I would love to rent her property next year but for a longer stay.
Well loved and cared for cottage with everything you need to enjoy a great family vacation on the lake. We will be back next year!
