Bristol is home to this cottage. New Hampshire Audubon and Northwoods Glade are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore White Mountain National Forest and Charles L. Bean Sanctuary. Paradise Point Nature Center and Rhino Bike Works are also worth visiting.
We were pleasantly surprised by all the space in the cottage to spread out and find a quiet spot to read a book or drink coffee. The shed was stocked with a kayak and inflatables which made the very shallow beach even more perfect for my children. We'd definitely stay here again.
Stayed for a week with my grandson. The cottage is in a convenient location. Very spacious with a lovely view. I enjoyed my morning tea out in the sunroom. Evan was very responsive to my inquiries. Seamless check in and out. I spent my summers on Newfound Lake as a child. It is still just as pristine, clean and beautiful as it was 50 years ago! We had a wonderful vacation, quite enjoyable.

Overall we had a really nice stay at the Finn cottage for a week, but there were a few things to note:Pros:-Location is super nice, just a short walk to a private lake beach with shallow calm water, perfect for little kids. The place on the lake is a short 10min drive from town, and there's shops and restaurants along the way. Also close to Rumney and Mt Cardigan for climbing or hiking.-Clean cottage with a cozy 70s vibe; my daughter loved the little nook accessible by ladder in the corner of the living room, there was plenty of room for everyone-The floats and water toys were a nice plus and great for relaxing and playing in the lake.Cons:-Check-in was poor; we didn't get access info until day of, and I had to send multiple messages and go through VRBO support. Hopefully just a one-off-The cabin does not have potable running water, so you have to buy some bottled water or go to a local spring. The provided water ran out on day 1.-The washer/dryer is listed as "emergency use only" so don't think that you can reliably wash clothes here.Overall a really fun and relaxing stay but with some caveats
