Located in West Vail, a neighbourhood in Vail, this holiday home is in the mountains and on the waterfront. Travellers looking for local activities can try Vail Ski Resort and Beaver Creek Ski Area, while those looking to experience a bit of culture can stop by Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. John A. Dobson Ice Arena and Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, or try out other outdoor activities such as snowmobiling and sledging.
The place was great. Jeremy were the host and very easy to deal with. The location on the creek was fantastic. Makes for a cool place to hang out. Definitely recommend.!!
Such a pretty house, it was clean, spacious, and cozy! Kitchen had everything. Hot tub was nice after a day of skiing. I loved the backyard, so relaxing to sit out on the deck and by the firepit. This was our first visit to Vail, an easy walk to get to the bus stop. The host was quick to respond when we had a question. Would stay here again.
Our stay in Vail was amazing. The house is located close to Lionshead Village and a short walk to Vails bus stop. It was spacious and accommodated our group of 9 comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials. We enjoyed the hottub, outdoor deck snd fitepit down by the creek. Definitely recommend and would stay there again. The communications with the host were timely and accommodating.
We had an awesome experience here. There was everything we needed and more! It was very clean, spacious, and only a couple hundred yards to the nearest bus stop to take you in town for free. Would 10/10 come back.
The location is great with respects to the bud line. Place was clean and very nice.

Thank you for your review. I think you meant bus line - which we are pretty close to!

We had a wonderful stay. the bus stop taking us to the slope is just within minutes. the property is very well stocked with spices, cooking supplies, utensils. The owner is very responsive, making the whole trip very easy. And the hot tub is wonderful!
The property was beautiful and there was more than enough space to fit our group of 8 comfortably. It was located on a quiet street with free public transit just steps away. Property owner, Jeremey was kind and quick to respond to any questions.
Great property for a group of 8 adults. Close to town shuttle, we were able to park 3 cars in driveway. Only a couple little items to note: not able to use firepit because propane tank was empty and owner let us know that we are welcome to purchase propane at our expense, the oven on “bake mode” would turn off once it reached 350’ so baking a casserole was a challenge ( tried the convection mode and it stayed on)
Beautiful view from back patio - perfect place to have breakfast .

Sorry to hear the oven didn’t work for you. We’ll put out instructions on how to operate the bake setting as it does work. We’re working on providing propane for renters, but may never as the insurance liability may be prohibitive. Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Update: according to the recent changes to the local fire code, we aren’t authorized to allow open fires/flames on decks. Incidentally, we have provided propane since this renter commented. Looks like we can’t anymore though.
Near the shuttle station to the ski resort. Has a great size little hill in backyard so kids could easily play sled and tube that from the host's supplies.
The master bedroom has lower temperature then other places.
And when you were the last people to get shower it would be cool water only....
Otherwise this place is awesome! Everyone enjoyed it!

Glad you enjoyed your stay. For future renters who read this, there’s a thermostat and adjustable floor vents that you can use to change the temperature to your liking. Also, the hot water heater is plenty big enough for our 1600 square foot house and we’ve never heard of anyone saying they ran out of hot water. If I remember correctly, our master bedroom (also water heater) circuit breaker had tripped right before they arrived. It was reset and everything worked fine after they mentioned the lights weren’t working in the master. The renters only complained about lower temp water the first day.
The cabin was nice and welcoming for a family stay. Cozy. Full of appliances for your daily cooking needs. Appreciated the board games for family nights. Jacuzzi worked wonderfully.
The only slightly negative comment would be that the actual property is smaller than shown in pictures. Pictures show a very spacious house but it was actually a half house (town home).
Other than that, we had a great family vacation and I would consider the house for another stay in the future.

Thanks for your comments. Our description does say our square footage - FYI.
Overall our stay was great. The property is in a good location, easy to access. We didn't use the town bus to go into town but the stop was very close to the house. Having access to the river is a very nice feature and we enjoyed hanging out there a lot. The few reasons I am not giving this property a 5 was because the duplex next door is still under construction and the workers worked even on the weekend when we were there. There wasn't a safe path to the river or backyard, it was actually a bit dangerous and our kids kept falling down the rocky path that was unkept. Also, we couldn't figure out how to use the AC, but I actually don't think their is AC in the unit, for the most part this wasn't an issue but we did have one very Hot day in Vail. Overall our family had a great time aside from the small issues.
Beautiful property located in prime are, just close enough to the fun and far enough to have some privacy. plenty of space, probably too much inside as we didn't even sit in one of the living rooms the entire time. backyard was the best for relaxing after skiing all day. high recommended.
