Our family of 4 (incl 2 older teens) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is secluded but we didn’t feel completely isolated. The property was very clean, well maintained. The house feels both big and cozy. The kitchen has all you need for cooking up meals if you don’t feel like heading out. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms spacious. (Great water pressure too, my hair says thanks) We set up our cornhole boards, swam in the lake (perfect temp!), rented a pontoon for a day. The kids loved walking to the W Barnett quick stop for ice cream & breakfast sandwiches (and to get away from us). We saw two bald eagles up close - a few times! There must be a nest close to the property. So cool. St Johnsbury was conveniently located for grocery shopping, coffee (gotta hit up Boule). There were some cute shops and bookstores, too. Burlington was a great destination, as well (not too bad of a car ride with Ben& Jerry’s HQ & tour along the way) - Burton flagship is there, along with great restaurants & the Church St marketplace. Lake Champlain is there but .. meh. made you appreciate Lake Harvey’s quietness all the more. Overall, this was an incredible stay. We were able to relax, have fun, enjoy nature and each other. Thanks, Tony!
