Hoku Lani, or “Heavenly Star” is a two story air conditioned 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with lofty ceilings, concrete construction and gorgeous details throughout. You’ll love the mahogany and kiwi custom cabinetry and granite countertops in our gourmet chef kitchen. Fine touches like redwood interior doors with patina copper panels, wood and copper details and sculpted pedestals add to the ambience and luxury.

This beautiful 1460 square foot home is situated in the heart of kihei on the Maui Beach Walk, just steps to the ocean and all it has to offer, from surfing at Cove Park, to swimming and snorkeling at Charlie Young Beach. Here you can enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking and other water activities or just lounge on the beautiful sand beach and take in the gorgeous views.

Hoku Lani Beach House sleeps 8 and is spacious for 6, is walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, live entertainment and more. It is ideal for a family, two couples with children, or a family with grandparents wanting a luxurious living space. The beach house is set back from the street, creating a one of-a-kind large spacious yard and private environment. You can walk everywhere, cook indoors or out and is great for entertaining.

This was an excellent location. It had everything you need for a family gathering including infants. It had all the gear to go surfing or boogie boarding. Entertaining inside or outside. It was a very private secure location that you felt safe at. We used the bbq and it was great. The mango trees were starting to drop fruit so we got a couple of fresh mangos. We walked locally to take advantage of the food trucks down the way and we also shopped at the local foodland for any additional needs. Highly recommend and if I return to Maui would use again.

Just so phenomenal! Every night we walked to the beach (1 min walk max) to watch the sunset. This home is much more well stocked than the listing suggests, everything you could need to have a fabulous Maui vacation is here at this house. We brought 6 out of our 8 kids, aged 15 down to 1 year old, and literally everything you can think of is here at this house to help your family. I was nervous to bring my big family to such an adventurous Hawaiian island, but this home felt safe with its protected front yard and location. I was so grateful to be able to tidy up while we stayed there, as well as do our laundry. This was just such a beautiful stay and experience for our family. If you’re considering booking you WILL NOT be disappointed.

This was one of the best houses we have ever stayed at. The home was exceptional, and we had toys for the beach, a lanai out of every bedroom, and a wonderful kitchen for cooking in. We came to Celebrate our 50th wedding Anniversary with children and grandchildren and everyone loved the Hoku Lani Beach House. We are a semi-retired couple that fell in love with this home and it's location. We also live on Maui and are very happy to share the Heavenly Star (Hoku Lani beach house) with you. All management of the property falls under AFC Management Co. LLC which is owned by retired luxury event planner and income property manager Tammy Ash Perkins.

Why they chose this property

Hoku Lani in english means Heavenly Star… This single family home is set on 10,000SF of fenced land that was originally built in 1947 and beautifully remodeled in 2000 with ongoing improvements to this day.

This rare property is grandfathered in as a legally zoned vacation rental.

The home is beautifully built and fully furnished for families, couples, kids, retreats, or anyone wanting luxury living space.

The Hoku Lani Beach house is in a great location setback off the street, has a chef’s kitchen, is great for entertaining and is across the street from the beach. The home is large, spacious and provides a private living environment. You can walk anywhere, cook inside or out, walk through Kalama park and have access to free tennis courts, volleyball, batting cages, basketball, skate park, playgrounds, grocers and much more.
