About this property
Hot Tub/Covered Deck With Mountains & Lake Views - Quiet - Fragrance Free
Tiny Home with hot tub for BIG memories! The Tiny Tuck is a reference to the Tuckaseegee River. If you're familiar with our Eagle's Nest 775023 (2/2) and Eagle's Landing 749709 (2/2), then you are aware of the views on this mountain ridge. Well this little gem is a 400 sq ft tiny house. Although the views are very similar to the other 2 homes, on the right side of Fontana Lake, around the bend, it turns into the Tuckaseegee River that flows right through downtown Bryson City. Outside, you'll find a large spacious 470 sq ft deck with outdoor furniture and breathtaking views of the lake and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There's also a charcoal grill and fire pit with firewood that can be purchased on the property. The outdoor space is perfect for kicking back, star gazing, and roasting marshmallows. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way! Inside, you'll walk into a small great room with cathedral ceilings, a full chef's kitchen, and all the comforts of home. There's a 12x18 sq ft loft, a full bathroom with tub, and a queen size bedroom. Best of all, there are breathtaking views from every window. Be at peace knowing these homes are completely free of any toxic fragrances or chemical cleaners, and Medical Medium Friendly! There are no air fresheners, plug ins, scented candles, incense, commercial laundry soaps or fabric softeners. We wash all of the linens, shower curtains, bath mats etc. in house to insure they are cleaned without any toxic commercial soaps, stain removers, or bleach. We use non toxic cleaning supplies like Unscented Seventh Generation, BonAmi, BioKleen, peroxide, vinegar, and baking soda. This entire 12 acre property has NEVER been sprayed with pesticide. We are aware of how these toxic commercial fragrances have a burning effect on the nerves, can perpetuate a weakened immune system, deplete the nervous system, and cause several other chronic health symptoms. Rejoice in knowing that inside our homes and outside in the surrounding hundreds of acres of National Forest, clean air and oxygen are absorbed with every breath. The Tiny Tuck is located in Bryson City, NC. This land is bordered on 3 sides by 600 acres of the Nantahala National Forest, Fontana Lake, and the GSMNP. Lake access and pontoon rentals are available just a few short minutes from the cabin. Downtown Bryson City is just a short 20-minute drive.
Bryson City was voted one of the "Top Ten Outdoor Towns in the East" by Outdoor Magazine, one of the Smithsonian's "20 Best Small Towns to Visit", "one of the top 8 Small Towns Near Stunning Nature" by Orbitz, and Trip Advisor ranked Bryson City as "the #1 Most Beautiful Little Mountain Town in America!" USA Today also featured Bryson City as "one of the 5 Most Charming American Towns with Mountain Views and All Season Destinations." Southern Living featured our Eagle's Nest cabin (which is on the same ridge) on the cover of an article titled, "8 Secluded Southern Stays Where the Views Don't Get Any Better!"

About the host
Hosted by Clarissa and Mike
Shannon and Michelle purchased 12 acres of raw undeveloped land in 2013 surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest. Little did they know (for the thick foliage) that they had a Million Dollar View of a Horseshoe Bend on Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! It took viewing Google Maps to see what a gem they had found. They moved to Bryson City after selling their home and printing business in Fletcher NC (close to Asheville). Shannon grew up in Bryson City, and Michelle fell in love with this "Gateway to the Smokies" town when they built a house boat that floats on Fontana Lake. Tiny Tuck is where they lived while building Eagles Landing and Eagles Nest. Now they share it with guests from all over the world!

Why they chose this property
There's a Peace here that we've never felt before. This place is awe - inspiring. It almost forces you to stop in your tracks every time you look outside. We're sharing the Tiny Tuck to give our guests an opportunity to feel they're floating on water...and sometimes in the clouds. This tiny house offers all the comforts of home with a large 350 sq ft (partially covered) deck that extends out over top of Fontana Lake. From the theatrical morning sunrise to the day's last light, and on a clear night you can see the Milky Way, the show this magical place performs is ever changing and always jaw dropping.
What makes this property unique
The Tiny Tuck offers everything our larger cabins provide on a smaller scale. It accommodates 2 people comfortably, although the doorways into the bathroom and bedroom may limit anyone taller than 6'3". This home also features the same rare views of Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Bald Eagles have nests close by so more than likely you'll see them flying pretty close to this home. They love to land in the surrounding trees. This year (2025) we witnessed the eagles building a nest on the Hickory Flats Peninsula. This is the closest part of the park projecting out into the lake. Now you can see them year round coming and going from this peninsula! Often, you'll witness other animals swimming in the lake or walking on the lake banks, like deer, bear, otters, bobcats, and elk. This home allows an opportunity to get immersed in nature. It provides a healing respite, a romantic hide away, a fisherman's paradise, or just a get away. However you enjoy your time here, you are bound to experience the wonder of nature surrounded by singing birds, and breathtaking atmospheric changes over the Lake and Park.
