Great place to stay. It is a very clean, comfortable cabin and close to Mackinac Island. Some simple staples for fixing food were not stocked if you're counting on making meals, but overall, I would definitely stay there again!
Nicely located near mackinaw and other attractions. House was clean and fully stocked with your basic needs. We enjoyed the fire pit on the cool evening.
The cottage was as described, however, it was musty smelling when we arrived. Could use a dehumidifier. The main bedroom could really use a small chair for someone older to use for changing and a fan in this room would help air circulation. It was quaint and met our needs for us.
It was a great rental. The only downside was we would have liked to know where there deeded access was and a place for us to go fishing. Otherwise, everything was working, clean, and very quiet.
Host was very helpful. Unfortunately my trip started with no toilet paper. Neighbors dog (to the left if you're looking at the lake) came out and just barked and growled at us pretty much the whole trip. Neighbor did nothing to control their dog.
It was a very clean property ... less busy area. Easy to get to Mackinaw island and other places. Owner was easy to get a hold of and the place was very cute.
