Historic Farm House on 400 Acre Cattle Farm near Clemson, SC
I invite you to explore our renovated 140 year old home that was built by my ancestors qualifying it as a Century Farm designation in South Carolina . Located only 1.2 miles from I-85/Hwy. 81 interchange, we are only 17 miles from Clemson, 21 miles from Downtown Greenville, and 8 miles from the city of Anderson. Situated on an active beef cattle operation, it is not uncommon to view grazing cattle in all directions surrounding the 2 acre landscaped yard. About the host
Hosted by William Wilson
I grew up in this home and lived there until I went away to college. My wife and I moved back to the farm in 1994, where we built a house in close proximity to the farm house and began raising a family and helping my father on the farm. I became a partner in the farming operation in 1999 and took sole ownership upon his failing health in 2011. So it is very likely you'll see me tooling around on a tractor or an ATV during your stay and would love to stop and say hey, but only if you wave me down!
