Location Location Location! 4 blocks from the ocean 5 blocks from Jax Beach Pier 5 minutes from Atlantic Beach 10 minutes from Mayo Clinic 20 minutes from Saint Johns Town Center
Newly renovated & extremely clean. 48" TV with Netflix, HBO, ESPN, TNT, etc.
The house is an old Florida beach duplex that has been revitalized. Remodeled bathroom, new floors, fresh paint, etc.
All travelers welcome!
The space is a cozy 1/1 with private entrance & plenty of parking.
The guests have access to everything in the house. Parking for 3 vehicles available if needed.
I am extremely social & love meeting new people, so if you have any questions about the city or anything, I am happy to help. It is a private entrance house, so if you want privacy then it definitely has that as well.
The neighborhood is extremely laid back. In Jax Beach, bikers have the right away at all times and there are a lot of us! You will see several people riding around on bicycles, especially on the weekend.
I highly recommend riding bikes if possible, its the way to go! Parking can be difficult at times at Jax & Atlantic Beach but it is possible. Or you can park anywhere for $5. City Ordinance quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be considerate of nearby neighbors.

Location for the price is FANTASTIC. Super nice host. Unit was clean; however, I did communicate that parts were a bit old/dingy, needing repair and updating. But, it was a cozy unit tucked away in a nice beachy neighborhood with walking access to Jax beach.

great place for the price. vrbo manager/owner was great and very communicative.
I really enjoyed my stay in Jacksonville, thanks to this place. It was in an awesome location, the place was comfy, and the outdoor area was very nice. Really love it!
The listing is extremely accurate. It is small and has all the necessities for two and extras. It's not fancy, but we were not looking for fancy. I would stay again!
This property was small but clean. It had what we needed for the couple of days that we were there. Nice neighborhood - quiet and clean. The host was easy to communicate with. Very close to the beach and easy to get around town. Definitely only for two people - we didn't spend alot of time there but all in all, nice stay.
The place is perfect for a couples getaway, especially if you bring your dogs. The house is very clean, super cute and cozy with all of the amenities you could want. Parking was private and shaded as was the outside sitting area. The place is very close (truly you could walk) to the beaches, restaurants and night life but in a quite little neighborhood so your dogs don't get worked up by noises/neighbors/etc. It is a great place for a nice weekend getaway and we would highly recommend it.
I was in Jacksonville for the Mayo Clinic. Good location to get to the hospital within 15 monutes. Note that the place is small and best for 1 to 2 people. Its been noted in other reviews that the lighting is dim inside. It would be great to have the bulbs changed for better lighting, espeically in the kitchen. Very close to the beach and r resturants. The .
I am going to be brutally honest about this. Let me first start by saying that Zac was very prompt in replying to my requests or questions. No problems there.
It was a small place which we knew, and when we walked in, it was pleasantly nice to not smell like pets.
On the flip side of that, there are several things that need improvement. If you need your space while sleeping, the bed was pretty small. There are no towel bars in the bathroom, the one that was there was broken. The toaster was broken, so it made it difficult to use. Some of the burners on the stove don’t get warm enough to even boil eggs. And on the right side of the stove, anytime my husband tried to use it, it sounded like there was something electrical short going on in the back of the stove that was kind of scary to use. They did have a vacuum that we tried to use, but the smell from it was so horrid we had to turn it off. The lighting is pretty dim. The fridge was OK mostly, but the freezer had a pretty bad smell to it like it had been unplugged and then plugged back in to be used when we got there. It was kind of tight getting in and out of the parking space, but we made it work. Overall, we didn’t have a terrible experience, but it’s definitely not updated like it stated. If cosmetic issues bother you, this isn’t the place for you.

The apartment was alright but felt dark. It is an add-on to the back of a house but has a separate driveway, entryway, and outdoor space (the covered carport) but felt a bit cramped and didn't have a view of anything but the driveway. The furnishings were adequate but were definitely old and over used. Removing the broken items (broken chair outside, broken bar stool inside) would improve the overall feel of the place. The kitchen/cooking equipment was sub-par and disorganized. We only found table settings for two. I know it was just a two person unit but I think that two knives, forks, spoons, plates etc means that you are having to wash dishes even as you prepare a meal. The pots and pans were scattered through different cabinets and most of them were dirty with food residue from previous guests. There is no dishwasher - which is okay - but the dishes should be clean to start with. Other than that, the cleanliness was really good, the appliances worked well, the linens and towels were good. We appreciated the guide binder for local restaurants and went to a couple of them - Zach's recommendations were spot-on and we enjoyed the area.
Things that would have been helpful: instructions on how to operate the air conditioning system (it was too cool for me and I had a hard time figuring out how to shut it off). A small map of the local area to help with orienting ourselves. Better organization in the kitchen and more dishes and cutlery.
