Relax in the master bedroom furnished with a queen bed & tv, office/yoga room equipped with yoga mats, blocks, & resistance bands, living room with 55 inch tv, fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, & private back deck with back yard.

The cottage includes FREE swimming at Sand Dunes Recreation Hot Springs! Sand Dunes Recreation is located 30 minutes north of Alamosa.

Sandhill Cranes and Great Sand Dunes in the “valley”

Alamosa and the San Luis Valley is a very nice place to visit. We visited the Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge to see the migration of Sandhill Cranes migration north to the greater Yellowstone ecosystem, and the Great Sand Dunes National Park, which was something.

Nice Setup

We really enjoyed our stay at The Campus Cottage. This home is in a great location, good neighborhood for taking a walk, and setup for a comfortable stay. I would recommend two things: 1.) a blind in the kitchen window facing west to keep the afternoon heat at bay in the summer, and 2.) a good blind or blackout curtains in the bedroom window facing north since the bright street lights can cause a restless night.

Perfect for Sand Dunes Trip!

Everything was just wonderful with this VRBO. We were able to get to the sand dunes in about 35-40 minutes on average. Super cute and well kept home. Everything you need in town is literally within 5 minutes. Owners were very quick to chat for questions. Loved it! (I didn't realize there was no ac throughout the house, but the temp was just fine this time of year. The bedroom has a window unit that worked great!)

Convenient launch point for short Sand Dunes Trip

This was a great location for a quick stay in Alamosa to visit the sand dunes national park. Everything went smoothly with our stay and the neighborhood was quiet. We especially enjoyed the back porch and the central location close to everything we needed in town (grocery, coffee shops, restaurants, gas).

Loved Campus Cottage!

This was the coziest rental property I’ve stayed at while traveling! I loved the fully stocked kitchen, the warm comfortable bed, the detailed welcome book providing guests with suggested places to eat and attractions to visit. The communication was impressive as the dryer wasn’t working right away, but it was fixed minutes later. The home also resides in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood that’s easy to navigate. Easy 30min-drive to the sand dunes. Highly recommend!

We were so happy to stay at this lovely, clean and wonderfully located home in Alamosa. We went to see the sand dunes but it was cold and windy! So the excellent hosts had left us wrist bands and we had the most awesome and relaxing experience at the Sand Dune recreation, with hot mineral baths, drinks and food. WE really enjoyed this home. There was a beautiful kitchen and the whole place is spotless. Deer walk by in the evening.!
