Clean, comfortable, and simple. Safe location. Would stay here again. However there was no soap in bathroom, and no dish towel to dry dishes. Accessing the lock box for the key was challenging, since it is inside a low mailbox making both awkward to reach and hard to see (low height and dark).

The room was very clean and as described. The location is fantastic and provided a central location for our time in Paris. There are many lovely little shops and restaurants on the Ile St Louis, and all of Paris is just a bridge away.The room is small, but that's Paris! It had everything we needed in a compact space. I would suggest adding a towel for drying the dishes and a hand towel for the bathroom. A couple of extra pillows would also be a nice touch.The room is on the 3rd floor, so that may be of concern to some, especially if you have heavy luggage.The initial retrieval of the key was a minor challenge because a) we didn't know where the light switch was when we arrived after dark and b) the mailbox is low and a bit awkward for accessing the lock box. But once you have the key, it's a simple fob to gain access.Overall, this room makes a good home base for a stay in Paris.

After many years of positive experiences and stellar guest reviews on Vrbo and other platforms, this is our first negative encounter. From the initial booking, the host’s communication was bizarre, aggressive, and hateful. Despite feeling uneasy, the strict cancellation policy forced us to proceed, leaving us "walking on eggshells."The host took extreme offense to a standard request to drop off luggage early. Later, upon arrival at the contracted time, the key was missing. After being stranded on the street and contacting Vrbo emergency services, the host responded to our inquiries with offensive language and threats to "throw us out".We ultimately did not feel safe entering the property or staying in the home of someone so far outside the norms of professional hospitality and threatening to keep keep us out. We chose to leave and are currently seeking a refund through Vrbo. We are sharing this to prevent others from having their hard-earned holidays ruined. This host treated us hatefully, threatening, and unprofessionally—steer clear for your own safety and peace of mind.
