The initial drive up to Il Segreto was challenging, but it is definitely worth it for the view and the lovely home that Il Segreto is. We particulary enjoyed sitting out on the decking looking out to sea above the lights of the coastline, and the pool is a generous size and kept us cool in the heat. The added bonus of being able to walk up to the restaurant above was a bonus, the meal they gave us was fabulous. The en-suite bedrooms are spacious, the two front bedrooms having pleasant views out across the pool to the coastline. Overall we would return to Il Segreto and it provided a wonderful base for our family holiday.

What an awesome Place! If you Look for some quiet, really relaxend Time this is the House for you! Its right up the Hill, with the best Pool and the nicest view by day and Night! Almost no neighbors. The owner of the house cleaned the pool everyday and sprinkled the grass in the morning. He lives next to the house, so if there is any problem there is always someone to ask. Also Ian was always reachable und helped us with little things. The is a very nice organic restaurant nearby (walking distance 5min), which has the best food! All organic and homemade. We even took some wine and olive oil back to Germany. Open Friday till Sunday, reservation necessary! The only mini-downside is the way up the hill. It is very tight and there are 3 Serpentines, which are not really easy to manage. And to get food or go out for some sightseeing you need to take those serpentines. Since some of us were a little afraid, we were always home before sundown. But nevertheless this house was so so awesome, we would always come back! Since we wanted to spent time together more than going out all week this was the best place for us! Thanks Ian and the home owner! Hope to see you soon!
