This was a great little place, easy to find & close to town. It was very clean, the king size bed was very comfy & it sits about 5 steps to a small creek running right outside the enclosed porch. We enjoyed our stay.
Great experience from start to finish. Good communication with the owners. Very comfortable, clean, charming. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch, the creek out back, and the wood stove. We are already looking at dates to come again.
10 out of 10!! We can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s a great value. Perfect location right beside a creek - I had the most relaxing afternoons sitting on the screened porch, reading and listening to the creek. My husband loved the fully stocked fire pit. And the location couldn’t be better for waterfalls hunting. The hosts are great too.
We had a great experience at the mountain escape. We loved hanging out on the porch relaxing, enjoying the creek just feet away. It was very quiet and private, would definitely stay at Karen’s place again!

Thanks for the great review and being wonderful guests!
Excellent location! Close to downtown Brevard and lots of great hiking! The cabin was perfect. Very clean and cozy. Enjoyed the sounds of the creek from the screened back porch and while sitting by the fire pit. Cabin was well stocked and one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. Would definitely stay here again. It was exactly what we wanted for a chill Thanksgiving in the mountains.

Thank you for the wonderful review! Please come back and stay again.
The cabin was cute and very clean. It had everything we needed for a week-long stay. It is located close to town off a paved road for easy access. We have stayed in cabins that were very difficult to get to on steep gravel roads, so we appreciated the easy access to this one. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family.
Had a sweet time here as a family—hiked during the day and enjoyed the fire pit and small creek in the evenings. Great proximity to DuPont, Pisgah, downtown Brevard, and Hendersonville.
Place was great, just a little closer to the road than I like to be, but sound of creek helped with the road noise. Overall it was just like it was described. Very clean and cozy. Communication with the host was very easy, she responded back in a reasonable time. Would stay again.
We stayed here for the comfort and peace that the space offered. We recommend it any who enjoy sitting around a fire and nature. Being close to town was a plus.

Thanks for the great review! We would be glad to have y’all back again!
We enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. Thoughtful updates have been made and the cottage was spotless. The bed was very comfortable for us and the bike wash station was really handy. We like the sound of the gurgling mountain creek and the close proximity to Brevard, Pisgah Natl Forest, and Dupont.

We had a wonderful week staying in this comfortable cozy cabin. The stream that runs next to it was so peaceful and you could enjoy it from a screened patio or outdoors. It was very clean, well stocked, plus extras, and the cabin seemed very spacious. It was close to Brevard for groceries, shopping and dining. Also close to great hiking and mountain biking trails. Thanks to our hosts!!

Daniel. Thanks for the great review. We appreciate having great guests who take care of our cabin and enjoy their stay!
This was the cleanest property I have ever stayed in- from bathroom to fake plants. We so enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere while still close to everything. We also really liked the little touches- extra toilet paper, trash bags, and even some oil to cook the eggs in. It was nice to not have to buy these extras. I texted with Karen several times, even asking advice on where to eat, and she was always quick to reply. I would definitely stay here again and have already bragged about it to others.
Great location - This cabin is in between Pisgah Forest and Dupont Forest. The cabin is quaint and cozy and the screened in back porch and stream in the backyard are wonderful. It also also the slickest bike washing station. There were so many trail and waterfalls to see within minutes. Dealing with the cabin owners was a delight and they were helpful in finding specific things in the area to do. We will go back and enjoy the cabin and surrounding area again. Thank you for a great time!!
When we arrived I was impressed before I even went inside….Beautiful flowers everywhere, awesome stream right beside and behind the property, beautiful screened in back porch where we spent a lot of our time. The house was in a perfect location also. We seemed to be secluded even though we were so close to everything. The inside was beautiful as well. Very well stocked with everything. I hope we can visit again soon!
