About this property

Spacious - 4200 sq ft Family Friendly Home near Hearth House

Our home is in a small quaint family friendly neighborhood in the beautiful town of Monument, located just 5 miles from the Air Force Academy and less than 1 mile from the Hearth House wedding venue and multiple quality local restaurants.

Just 10 minutes from Colorado Springs, 30 miles from south Denver and 1 hour to many mountain activities and towns. We have games, puzzles, books, DVD's and more for you to enjoy while you are enjoying your getaway.
The space
Our 2 story home has 6 bedrooms: 1 rooms with a king bed, 1 room with a queen bed, 1 room with a full and a twin bed, 2 rooms with a full beds and with a room with twin bunk beds. We also have a queen air mattress available in the study room on on the main floor, if needed. Full bathroom next to the study on main floor. Upstairs near the bedrooms, is a laundry room with washer and dryer. On the main floor, we have a beautiful formal dining room, including a piano begging to be played, along with a big kitchen and a kitchen nook. Our family room is nice and spacious and has a gas fireplace. There are 3 full bathrooms, 1 on the main floor, and 2 on the 2nd floor. Our backyard has a patio table, grill and small yard.
Other things to note
For the train lover, you'll be able to see the train from the backyard. There is some noise from the train when windows are open but with windows and doors closed, it is not a problem.

AFA Graduation Week

This property is in very close proximity to the Air Force Academy and makes a perfect base for visiting cadets. Jay and Kimberly were easy to work with.

Great space for families

We stayed at this home with three other families while attending a tournament for our kids. The home was spacious and worked well for our group. The basement area was fresh and perfect for our kids to relax and stay cool between games. The train outside was noisy when trying to enjoy the patio, but we could barely hear it inside if the doors and windows were closed. The kitchen was not clean when we arrived, which would be our only complaint (minor oversight - we just wiped everything down).

Large Family Vacation

This is the perfect place for a large family vacationing together! Lots of room for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathrooms. Lots of sitting and eating space. The backyard is beautiful with a covered porch to sit and enjoy a meal. The kids loved playing on the trampoline, the grownups loved that it has side covering so littler kids can jump with ease. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The basement is a fun place to relax or kids to play. The Kitchenette is the perfect addition to the basement so you can still have snacks and drinks close by. Overall, an immaculately clean, cozy home to be enjoyed by all ages!

Wonderful Stay for Wedding

The property was large, well equipped, and beautiful. It hosted four families, including kids of all ages, for relatives that came to Colorado Springs for my son's wedding. We had a great time chatting and eating at the property. Many thanks to the owners!
