It’s a really great location, the unit is exactly as advertised. The host is very responsive. I would definitely go back to this unit and recommend it to my friends.
We had a wonderful stay! It was perfect for myself, my husband, and our 4 year old daughter. They had everything we needed and I liked that we were close to town and lots to do around!
Spent 3 nights at the property. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Everything functioned as it should. Only minutes from Boone, yet you get a remote mountain feel from the home. Great views from the deck. The property description was very accurate, especially the driveway pitch. It is very steep. We only drove to the house to unload and load. The remainder of the time we parked at the bottom of the driveway.
This is a modest house with great mountain views, a very workable kitchen, comfy beds, and clean clean clean. Quiet neighborhood without road noise. A half hour to several wonderful hikes; 10 minutes to Boone which is a funky mountain college town with good grocery stores and a couple of nice restaurants.
The house interior has been recently updated in modest but perfectly fine ways; the deck and furniture needs some work, but nothing you can't work around. Comfortable and cozy for our family of three - just what the doctor ordered after a hard-working spring. We'll be back.
There was a small issue with the air conditioner when we arrived, Irina was very responsive and had a repair company out very quickly. The home is lovely, I really liked the big chair in the office, it was very comfy for reading and checking out the view! Very convenient to downtown Boone. Would definitely stay again.
