I have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this is one of favorites. Lovely well - equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, and a roomy apartment. Great walkable location. Host was very easy to communicate with and quick to reply if we had a question. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Wow! Thank you Vicki. It means so much to me when our well-traveled guests rate us among their favorite places to stay!
The property was perfect especially for a traveling couple. Neat, clean, quiet, all the amenities - and my wife would say that it was pretty too! A short walk to the park, the museum, and the Old Town Plaza. Highly recommended!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a 5-star review! It means a lot to us!
I wanted to stay in a classic adobe house on my trip to New Mexico, and the Silversmith’s House delivered that and more. Everything felt easy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the abundant outlets, easy and secure parking in the cute courtyard, and the peacefulness of the neighborhood. I’m gonna tell my friends to stay here when they visit!

Thank you Amanda! There is no higher compliment than telling your friends to stay at our place too! We’re so glad you loved the Silversmith’s casita!
Great location, very cute casita, perfect for a couple
This was a perfect little place for a couple--very cute, surprisingly roomy. The bathroom is tiny and is a wet room, so the whole floor gets wet when you shower--be prepared for that in case you need the toilet after that! But the owner posted a note to make that clear. The location is amazing--right across a small park from Old Town. This place was great and I was sad we had to leave after only two nights! We will definitely be back when we visit Albuquerque again.
Lovely little compound of small abode houses. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, adobe walls, wood and brick floors--so nice! Two minute walk to Old Town plaza, across a small road from a lovely big park. Hosts were gracious and flexible when we asked to add an additional night at the last minute. I can't recommend this property highly enough. Only negative I can think of (and this is nitpicking) is light in bathroom is dim, hard to put on makeup and lamp on only one side of bed. If ever back in Albuquerque I will absolutely stay here again!
My wife and I were in Albuquerque for a conference and the Silversmith's House was a great choice. It was clear from the moment we arrived that the owners pay close attention to detail: the place was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware, and the throw pillows and blankets make the place very cozy. The only slightly negative comment I would make is that the floor incline for the shower is not quite steep enough, so the bathroom floor gets wet, but that problem is easily resolved with the helpful squeegee that is provided. Hence, 4 stars rather than five for this review. Thanks very much to the owners for providing such a pleasant place to stay at an affordable price right in the center of Old Town.
Location can't be beat - and the cottage is adorable, too
This adorable cottage is nestled in an enclave of similar casitas with shared outdoor space. It's great for eating outside and soaking up the atmosphere before taking the very short walk to the historic district, science museum, or Museum of Albuquerque (highly recommend!). Parking was a breeze and getting to from other sites driving was very easy, too. The owners have a wonderful list of favorite restaurants and activities, too.
The only drawback is that the pull out bed wasn't very comfortable. If that's important to you, this might not be the property for you.
Very cute casita near old town and a park. Parking was great. Clean. Check in was easy. Communication was great. Nice kitchen but we didnt cook. Lamp near bed and outlet near hair dryer gets very hot. Would not advise using. I let host know. Bed rather small for 2 people who are not petite. One of us slept on pull out sofa.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the casita and surrounding area. Thank you for bringing the electrical issue to our attention. So sorry you were the one to discover that. We had an electrician check it out the day after you left. All is good now. Thanks again!
