About this property
Cozy vintage hilltop getaway - great Poconos location!
Welcome to Little Bear, our cozy vintage trailer in the woods. We hope you'll be comfortable and feel at home here.
A perfect getaway 90 minutes from NYC
This 1950's vintage mobile home was the house of the future 65 years ago. Live the future now while escaping from the present!
Little Bear can sleep 4-5 in 2 bedrooms plus a comfy fold out couch. In warm weather a plush king size airbed can sleep 2 more on the screen porch.
The eat-in kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. There's a supermarket 5 minutes away and the nearby town of Milford has some great restaurants -- ask us for recommendations.
The extra-large screened porch is perfect for a summer dinner party or lazing away the afternoon with a good book. Or make your coworkers jealous on Zoom -- fast wifi makes Little Bear ideal for a working vacation too.
Have a campfire under the stars (which you can actually see!) around the firepit.
Near dozens of hiking trails, spectacular waterfalls, and forest swimming holes.
Just 5 minutes from the Delaware river. Little Bear is a great home base for a canoeing, kayaking, or rafting adventure!
Nearby attractions include the Delaware river, Delaware Water Gap national recreation area, Childs Park, Dingmans falls, Pocono Environmental Education Center, Peters Valley School of Craft, Shawnee Mountain ski area, Camelback ski mountain/waterpark, and the town of Milford, PA.
Please note:
**Little Bear is at the top of a hill with a badly maintained dirt/gravel road. Use caution and drive slowly!
In winter the road is not always passable to cars without 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. 4 wheel/all wheel drive is a MUST if you are planning a visit in snowy or icy conditions. If you think this might apply to your stay with us, please get in touch!
**This cabin is located in the woods, surrounded by critters. Despite regular pest control and our very best efforts, occasionally bugs or other flora/fauna DO work their way inside. We recommend keeping the screen door closed to minimize this. We don't give refunds for wildlife sightings.
