Welcome to our Cozy Holiday Home in Afritz, Carinthia!

Our spacious and lovingly furnished A-frame or thatched-roof house provides the perfect setting for a wonderful vacation with family and friends. Situated at the foot of the Nock Mountains and just a five-minute walk from the picturesque Afritzer See, our home is an ideal retreat for both relaxation and adventure in the Austrian Alps.

About the Holiday Home:
The well-appointed house comfortably accommodates five to six guests. It features three bedrooms (plus a loft with two additional beds), a bathroom, an additional toilet upstairs, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large living room with an open fireplace and satellite TV. Outside, there are two generous terraces where you can soak in the stunning alpine views.

Activities:

Hiking: Explore the Kärntner Nockberge, with peaks reaching up to 2,400 meters, offering breathtaking vistas and diverse trails for all skill levels.

Swimming: Enjoy a refreshing swim in the nearby Afritzer See or venture to the Ossiacher or Wörther See for sailing and other water sports.

Cycling: For cycling enthusiasts, the Nockberge area offers numerous routes, from leisurely rides to challenging mountain trails. The Afritzer Downhill Trail, just five minutes away, is perfect for skilled riders. Maps with excellent route information are available at the house. Or do you like road biking? Check out the fabulous rides on Nockalmstraße or Mangart (Slovenia)

Winter Activities: During winter, ski enthusiasts can reach the Gerlitzen and Bad Kleinkirchheim ski resorts within a 15-minute drive, offering a range of slopes including the FIS race course where Austrian Olympians Franz Klammer and Matthias Mayer honed their skills. After a day on the slopes, cozy up by the fireplace or enjoy the comfort of central heating.

Very nice spacious house

Well equipped house, spacious living room and kitchen area. Beautiful view. Well connnected to various ski areas in Kärnten. It's a wooden house, and the inside temprature could have been set a bit higher as it was mostly around 19-21 C during the day (oitside 0-5 C). But otherwhise we had a really nice stay.

Als 3-köpfige Familie haben wir im August 2025 unseren 10-tägigen Sommerurlaub im A-Frame-Haus verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert, zeitnah und stets freundlich. Das Haus war voll ausgestattet, es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Auch Spiele zum Zeitvertreib an einem Regentag, sind zahlreich vorhanden.Der Standort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Ausflugsziele, sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit einem gemieteten E-Bike. Sehr gut war auch, dass das Haus über eine Lademöglichkeit für E-Autos verfügt!Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und waren dankbar, dass wir unseren Urlaub an diesem hübschen Ort verbringen konnten.

Kärnten at its best!

Als Familie hatten wir einen fantastischen Urlaub. Das Ferienhaus ist vollumfänglich ausgestattet. Die sehr ruhige und gleichzeitig zentrale Lage war perfekt für die Erkundung Kärntens. Der Aftritz-See ist in 10min über einen schönen Weg fußläufig zu erreichen. Gerade zu Abendstunden ein Erlebnis.Und als Tipp: Neben all den schönen Wanderungen, die man in Kärnten machen kann, ist die Nutzung der Mautstrasse zum Mirnock und die kleine Wanderung zum Gipfel ein absolutes Highlight!

Schönes Ziel für einen Familien Aufenthalt

Sehr abwechslungsreiche Ausflüge möglich, z.B. Walderlebnispark Klopeiner See, Tierpark bei Villach. Besonders mit Kindern empfehlenswert. Im Häuschen kann auch mit einer großen Familie gekocht und mal gechillt werden. Die Treppe in den ersten Stock ist allerdings sehr steil. Kleinkinder und Großeltern sollten dafür fit genug sein!

Erholsamer Urlaub Juli 2023

Wir (4 köpfige Familie) hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Afritz. Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig und ist nett eingerichtet. Der Afritzer See war schnell mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen und die neue Pumptrack Anlage für unseren Sohn ein tolles Highlight. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war hervorragend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Der Aufenthalt war gut. Ich war jetzt das 16. Mal in Kärnten und es war wir jedesmal sehr schön. Auch bei durchwachsenem Wetter konnten sehr viel unternehmen und es war für jeden etwas dabei. Das Ferienhaus in bester Lage und sehr guter Ausstattung hat allen gut gefallen , auch wenn wir wetterbedingt die Terrasse nicht so oft nutzen konnten.

Schönes Haus, wundervoller Urlaub

Das Haus wird liebevoll noch von den Vermietern selber benutzt und das merkt man. Es ist wundervoll gepflegt, strahlt Gemütlichkeit aus und ist trotzdem in Küche und Bad neu renoviert. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war tadellos und sehr freundlich. Ein Ort zum Genießen - schön war's!

Schöne Lage in der Nähe des Afritzer See

In 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strandbad Afritzer See. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Betten etwas hart, aber in Ordnung.

Einfach großartig!

Wandern, Baden, alles direkt vor der Tür. Das Haus ist wunderbar, es fehlt nix. Alles wie abgebildet. Das Bad am See ist in unseren Augen das Highlight, vor allem mit Kindern. Die Betreiber sind einfach prima. Will gar nicht so viel verraten. Einfach den See genießen ohne Touri-Stress. Afritzer See ist für mich der Geheimtipp in Kärnten. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Herrliches Haus in wunderbarer Natur

Wir waren 2 Wochen in dem Ferienhaus mit unseren zwei erwachsenen Kindern. Man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort wohl durch die sympathische Einrichtung, schöne und sehr komfortable küchenausstattung und prima Schlafzimmer und Bad. Wir konnten viele abwechslungsreiche Dinge unternehmen- wandern, schwimmen, auf der Terrasse sitzen und lesen oder in eine umliegende Stadt ( Klagenfurt, Ljubljana und Villach) fahren. Die umliegende Natur war so kraftvoll und hat uns auch bei den Mahlzeiten auf der Terrasse begleitet. Es war wirklich wunderbar! Vielen Dank 😊

Wir haben das "Toblerone Haus" sehr gut gefunden. Der Afritzer See ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Auch ist das Gastronomie Angebot im Ort und Umgebung hervorragend. Das Haus hat uns sehr gefallen, die Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Gern haben wir auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt und in die Berge geschaut.

Kurzurlaub in Kärnten

Inmitten der malerischen Afritzer Berge und des herrlichen Badesees lädt das Haus zum Verweilen und Erholen ein. Besonders die gut gelegene Terrasse und der große Tisch im Wohnzimmer, der zum Spielen bestens geeignet ist, haben uns sehr gefallen.

Tolles Haus

Wir waren zu fünft im "Dreieckshaus". Die Lage ist toll: ruhig, aber in der Nähe alles was man braucht. Die Ausstattung ist super und umfassend. Und die Terasse ist ein Traum: Frühstück, Yoga, Grillen mit schönem Bergpanorama. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer schnell, problemlos und sehr freundlich. Kommen gerne wieder.
