The property worked for our long weekend, but there are a few things future guests may want to know. Parking is very tight, especially if you have an SUV or larger vehicle. We knew when booking that the home did not have central A/C, which is understandable for a property this close to the beach, but we expected the fans to be running to help keep the house cool before arrival. With no ceiling fans on and the standing fans stored away, the house was over 80 degrees when we arrived and our first night was pretty uncomfortable while trying to cool it down. There also wasn’t a fan upstairs, so we ended up purchasing one for that room. Even with the fans and windows open, the coolest we were able to get the house during our stay was around 77 degrees. The house is on a busy corner, so keeping the windows open for airflow also meant quite a bit of street noise. The property also showed more wear and felt more lived-in than we expected based on the listing photos.Overall, it got the job done for our long weekend, but the temperature, noise, and condition of the property made the stay less comfortable than we anticipated.
