Seas-the-Day is a pet and family-friendly waterfront luxury condo that is newly remodeled and professionally decorated with brand-new high-end finishes, furnishings, linens, and appliances. It is decorated with a warm coastal farmhouse feel. This property sleeps and entertains up to 8 guests, a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children, in comfort. The PENTHOUSE is coveted for its sweeping views. To the north, there are expansive wide-open views of Galveston Bay, wetlands, and wildlife. This view changes daily as the tides move in and out. To the south, there are views of a stocked fishing lake with a dock, and beyond that are beach and ocean views of San Luis Pass Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Upon entering the cozy 2-bedroom 2-bathroom Bay escape you are smacked with breathtaking WATERFRONT views (really AMAZING views) and you are just steps from the best beaches in Galveston. Gain access to this third-floor coastal retreat via an elevator in the covered parking garage. The third floor also affords a quiet stay as you will not hear any neighbors above you who are walking around. No-contact check-in and check-out are the norm so you can arrive or leave at your convenience.
The property has a king bedroom with a spa-like double-sink ensuite and a custom rain-head shower with additional jets. There is also 1 queen pull-out sofa and 4 twin beds in a set of two custom-built bunk beds that include two adult-friendly extra-long mattresses. All beds are made with your absolute comfort in mind so that you will sleep soundly, wake rested, and be ready to enjoy your vacation. In addition, every mattress is fitted with a three-inch memory foam mattress topper and high-end comfy sheets made of 600 thread count combed Egyptian cotton. All beds have bedside lamps and each bed in the bunkroom is also equipped with a personal charging device. Each room also has a ceiling fan, a closet and/or dresser for unpacking clothes, and a TV equipped with cable, Roku, Netflix, Disney +, Amazon Prime, and HBO. The master bedroom includes private access to the oversized waterfront-covered deck. Except for the bunkroom, the condo has in-your-face WATER FRONT  Views. The bunk room has two sets of custom bunk beds with both stair and ladder access, a kid-friendly nautical boating theme, and views of the fishing pond, beach, and the Gulf of Mexico.
Each of the 2 baths was recently remolded with new sinks, new lights, new mirrors, and new quartz countertops. Each has ample storage and a hairdryer. The guest bath has a combination tub and shower while the master enjoys double sinks as well as a newly remodeled rain shower with four wall jets. All guests will receive a fluffy bath sheet for their in-condo use. Pool or beach towels are self provided so please bring those with you.
You will also find a FULLY stocked kitchen with the conveniences of home. Everything you need to prepare a family meal and serve it in style is provided. We also have an over-the-top coffee and tea bar set up for your drinking pleasure. Appliances include a mixer, blender, toaster, skillet, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, a full refrigerator with water and automatic ice accessible in the door, a dishwasher, and an electric range and oven. Grills are found around the property. If there is an item that I have not listed here that you anticipate needing just let me know and I will do my best to make sure we have it stocked for you. We also do our best to keep common spices, coffees, teas, sugars, creamer, foils, wraps, bags, cleaning supplies, and Tupperware stocked for your use. We also have a fully stocked coffee bar, bar supplies, wine, and champagne glasses.
Jamaica Beach Grocery store, Seven Seas, is a 10-minute drive east. There are closer convenience stores as well if you want to check there, they also do a good job of stocking for the needs of those vacationing on the island. Also, don't forget about the onsite gift shop. The independently operated full-service restaurant and bar at Point West Resort is now open with poolside service.
The breakfast room has 4 kitchen chairs, but we also have a bench that seats two, so the table will seat 6 when pulled away from the wall and used with the bench. There are also 3 counter-height bar stools. The condo comes stocked with games, puzzles, and books so this table is multi-purpose and also makes a great place to set up a laptop as the view never gets old.
The condo is well equipped to handle anything you need with a new full-sized washer/dryer, 3 TVs that all have cable, Roku, Wi-Fi, a covered deck, and a lockable outdoor storage unit to hold your beach toys. Books, games, puzzles, coloring books, 4 beach chairs, a wagon, beach toys, 2 fishing poles with tackle, 2 sets of binoculars, birding and shelling guides, and a blue tooth-enabled speaker are provided. Every room in the condo has a spectacular water view.
Golf carts and bicycle rentals are available for an extra fee. For a nominal fee of $25 per person per stay, you will also have access to all the amenities that Pointe West has to offer for up to 1 week. Pointe West has 2 pools (one infinity pool beachside and one lazy river bayside), 2 hot tubs, 2 firepits, a gym, a restaurant and bar with poolside service (seasonal and independently operated), on-site bike rentals, a basketball court, stocked fishing lake with pier, outdoor grills, a locker room and gym, and a game room with a pool table, ping-pong, poker table, shuffleboard table, and foosball. There are miles of green space and trails for hiking, biking and just enjoying nature. You cannot go wrong with this outstanding family-friendly beach retreat that you will not forget.
Seas-the-Day Reservation Guidelines:
Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed usually up to a year in advance. Simply enter your desired dates and click "Book Now!"
Taxes for stays over 30 days will not be charged. The 15% discount for stays over 30 days only applies to the months of October-February and excludes the week of Thanksgiving and the 2 weeks of Christmas Break. If you would like to stay longer than 30 days please contact us for our best available rate before booking.
Checkouts or check-ins or changeovers on Saturdays are generally not permitted and are discouraged. Your reservation will not be approved if it includes a check-in or a check-out on a Saturday. Please check with us if you would like us to consider an exception. Checkouts on the following holidays are not permitted: New Year's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day as cleaning crews are not available on these dates. If your reservation is terminated on one of these major holidays you will also be billed for that evening's stay as well.
Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 a.m.
A change in your reservation MAY be possible if the dates you are requesting are still available and if the change is requested more than 20 days in advance.
The beds accommodate 8 guests. This condo is appropriate for groups of up to 6 adults and 2 children. Groups of 8 adults will not be able to book as the upper bunks are not appropriate for adults.
No Prom, Graduation, Parties, or Family Reunions. We do not have parking or plumbing to accommodate groups of over 8 in this residential neighborhood. If a reservation is made and it is later discovered that the reservation was made with the intent to have more than 8 guests on the property you will be asked to cancel your reservation.
There is a Pet Fee of $100 with prior approval (for small well-mannered and well-trained dogs, under 50 pounds). We will permit up to two dogs for an additional $50 pet fee. If you have large dogs you will need a reservation at our larger condo. We prefer that they be in a crate if you are not present with them. Sorry, but NO cats.
TRAVEL INSURANCE IS ENCOURAGED especially in the last weeks of August and the first weeks of September as our cancelation policy is strictly enforced. If the island is closed, mandatory evacuation is required, or short-term rentals are canceled on the island, we will offer to reschedule your trip for the remaining days of your stay. Many property owners will not.
* Please note that this home's elevators are sometimes, although rarely, out of service and this is beyond our control. As a result, this property may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with limited mobility. No refunds will be provided if the elevator is out of service. Please DO NOT RESERVE THIS CONDO if you or anybody in your party are dependent upon an elevator for mobility. We do not manage the elevators just the condo.
**Pointe West Resort Amenity Access: For those wishing to use resort amenities a separate reservation paid through the Pointe West Beach Club is available with every paid vacation for the length of your stay up to 1 week. There is an additional $25 fee per person (for up to 6 people) for those that are over 3 years old. The amenities are separate from the condo reservation and operated by the Pointe West Beach Club so if any issues or refunds for this service are required, please contact the Point West Beach Club. We have no control over this service other than to inform the Beach Club that you have a paid reservation at our condo and that you are entitled to use the amenity services for an extra fee that is not paid to us. You may pick up the amenity wristbands for your party with proof of ID, at the front desk of the resort.

Clean, beautifully decorated. High end place with wonderful peace and quiet and sunset views. All the amenities plus some! I would have added one higher end skillet and nothing else. it was perfect for us. :-)

We loved our time at Seas-the-Day! -Owner communicated thoroughly in advance so we knew what to pack and what to expect -North facing patio was always shady and cool with views of the peaceful bay and Houston in the distance -Very clean upon arrival -Kids LOVED the resort pools - we visited both one last time on the morning of checkout -Adults LOVED the quiet of the west side and we didn’t mind the drive to restaurants and activities in Galveston -Well-stocked coffee bar and kitchen -Beds were soft and comfortable -Appreciated the Culligan drinking water system We visited the week before Memorial Day weekend. The weather was perfect and we often had the pools, beach, and entire building to ourselves. We were careful not to make the notorious elevator angry, and it gave us no trouble when we were too lazy for the stairs. I don’t know when we’ll make it back, but we wouldn’t change a thing from our stay. Book confidently!

My husband Hal is a fifth-generation Texan who grew up in Forth Worth and attended Rice University with the hopes of starting a career in Houston at NASA. After college, he flew P3s in the Navy for 10 years, but now he works on the NASA campus. I am from a small farming community in Wisconsin and a graduate of the University of Florida. Growing up I had the opportunity to live in a touristy beach community in Italy for 3 years, so I love all things beach. I did environmental education with the Galveston Bay Foundation in Clear Lake and spent lots of time on the water in Galveston as a result of my job. I fell in love with the area and now I love, "Island Time". I am currently a veteran middle school teacher at Alvin ISD. We have two girls, 12 and 18, who are continuing seventh grade and twelfth grade this year. We love to travel and went to lots of amazing places and properties before we had kids. Our schedules now keep us mostly local and busy. Our experience with travel makes us excellent hosts, and we hope to fulfill your vacation needs with the special touches we have added to our property. We sincerely hope to share our home with you so that you can experience all the wonderful things that Galveston and the Houston area have to offer while enjoying your friends and family. We purchased this home primarily as an investment. In 5 years our youngest daughter will be going to college. Eight years ago we purchased our first rental property to help us pay for our oldest daughter to go to college. This home was purchased and provided for your use as a way to assist with college expenses for both daughters. One hundred percent of any money earned with the long-term rental and sale of this property will go directly to a college fund. They thank you.

Why they chose this property

The west end has the best and cleanest beaches in Galveston hands down so Pointe West was a no-brainer. We also love the amenities, elevator, and on-site restaurant and bar that Pointe West affords its guests. We selected a bayside location to have great close expansive water views with lots of birds that migrate through this area. We love to watch the tides go in and out, watch the boats putter by, and kayak in the Bay. We love the solitude of this property. We did not want to be bothered by noise from the Beach Cub as we enjoy listening to the birds, frogs, and crickets, whenever we can. I prefer the Bayside marsh views, but this third-floor unit is centrally located in the complex, so we do enjoy views of the beach and ducks on the lake as well.

Location, Location, Location with Great Owner Managed Customer Service. We are bayfront with sweeping water VIEWS in all directions. It is about a 12-minute walk to access our private beach. Our rental is cozy, newly remodeled with high-end finishes, and decorated to feel warm with brand-new linens and new furnishings. The third floor is quiet with no overhead neighbors and we are far enough from the beach club that you hear birds instead of music or loud children. We have comfortable beds in every room. Details like chargers and personal lights in each bunk and TVs in each room that are equipped with cable and ROKU. We provide a kitchen that is well-stocked and has plenty of counter space for seating, food, or activities. The covered deck has plenty of comfy seats. All rooms have beautiful views and quick access to a covered deck. Enjoy a covered parking garage with an elevator for ease of packing and unpacking vehicles. We have done our best to share with you everyday conveniences that you would have at your own home like comfy beds, outdoor seating, fluffy large bath sheets, books, games, puzzles, wifi, beach chairs, and a wagon as well as those everyday items that you don't need to remember to bring. We have FANTASTIC AMENITIES with an onsite BAR and Restaurant for days that you just can't be bothered to cook. We are experienced
short-term rental owners as we have had a very successful 5-star rental for eight years. We are dedicated owners and want to keep our property clean and pristine for your use and for our own. We have another condo that can be booked in conjunction with this one if you have a large party and need more room.
