This house and property on the coast near Round Pond was beautiful! The wooded, coastal setting was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed both the lovely house and the yard. The house was clean, spacious for four single adults, and well appointed. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely do a return visit to Lisa’s home!
It was wonderful. The house and setting are perfect for a Maine experience. The owners communicated frequently to make sure that we had what we needed. They anticipated our every need and stocked the kitchen and bathrooms well, lots of towels and provisions.3 generations had comfort and privacy. The view of Moxie Cove was special and we were lucky to experience the full moon on Muscongus Bay at night. We would love to return.
The home is beautiful and large. There was plenty of room for us to enjoy being together. The kids loved the tidal zone for searching for and finding shells, rocks, sea glass and living creatures. The kayaks and outdoor solo stove added to the enjoyment. The location was central to many of the destinations on our bucket list: New Harbor, Monhegan Island, Pemaquid Beach and lighthouse, Botanical Garden, Boothbay Harbor, Damarscotta and The Maine Aquarium. We all loved our stay!!
Very nice comfortable was great for my family together. Really enjoy it.
Beautiful kitchen was nice plenty of space, was nice and quiet comfortable. The view was spectacular.

Peggy and family were absolutely wonderful guests! Upon arrival they ran into a couple of hiccups and they couldn’t have been more gracious and understanding. Would love to have them stay again and highly recommend!
We loved our stay at the Round Pond Home. Clean and well maintained with outstanding water views and access. The house had everything you might need. Definitely a plus to have the Kayaks included. We loved the Granite Hall Store and had lobster from the Muscongus Bay Lobster as well as the Round Pond Lobster, both were great. Lisa, our host was great to work with. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Bill and company were wonderful guests! Communicated well and treated our home with care. We'd love to host them in our little spot anytime.
Kitchen very conducive for preparing meals for large family... Porch/Dining area also spacious for entertaining and feeding a group of nine Family members. Front porch overlooking the Bay with adequate view also conducive for entertaining...Powder room off utility room very accessible with large washer and dryer handy for daily towel/napkin washes for next feed..Dishwasher right there for fast clean up after meals... spacious fridge... Lots of cooking utensils and bowls, dinnerware and flatware.Bedrooms spacious, clean and with good views... all laid out well with comfortable beds..Access in/out from ground to porches which are the only entrances, are not particularly good for folks with mobility issues. The railing at the waterside porch entrance has a rail at the side of the steps that only goes about half-way up. The stairs at the side entrance porch has no railings nor does the entrance to the land-side door at the utility room. The main stairway up to the second floor has a railing on the way up on the left side but there is a gap before the oar that is used as a railing starts to be effective as a grip to the top.there is no railing provided on the stairs from the kitchen to the lower level where the trash barrels are located. The upper bathtub/Jacuzzi/ shower has no assist/grab bars installed to provide the user with steady entrance/egress to the tub/shower or stability while using the shower...(I have covered this in a separate note to our host)A Gem of a home

Hi Richard,
It’s so wonderful to hear that you were able to celebrate your 90th at our home with friends comfortably. We so appreciate your descriptive feedback here and in your earlier message on the features that will help with mobility issues. We’re just wrapping up for the season and we will be sure to work on having these addressed ahead of next summer.
Have a wonderful fall & winter and hope to have you and your group again,
Take care,
Lisa
Photos do not adequately capture the charm of this house, the views of the inlet, and the terrific location on the Pemaquid Peninsula. The comfort and amenities offered are generous and impressive, including a ready-to-go-kitchen, laundry facilities, linens, bath products, kayaks, a fire pit, and even night lights. The host, Lisa, was easy to work with and very responsive. We'd stay again in an instant, especially when the property is able to open up possible renovation of the cottage just across the road.
This place really is better than advertised. It’s an airy, cozy house with comfy bedrooms, and its location was perfect for us. Tucked down a forest road on beautiful Round Pond, it has a new dock and several kayaks to enjoy. We really loved the spot and the property, which was convenient to many beautiful small towns (Damariscotta, Rockland, Camden) and a longer but really pretty drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia.
Patrick and Lisa were great hosts, responsive to any questions we had; they made our first trip to Maine great enough that I ’m sure we will be back!

Chad and his family were absolutely wonderful guests! We'd love to have them again. A couple of things came up here and there and they were simply wonderful to work with. A pleasure to share our home with them.
Spent a week at this beautiful house and enjoyed everything it offered - great view and sounds of the ocean from the bedrooms and porch, fresh air, outdoor evenings by the fireplace, trips to deep see fishing and puffin watching, biking, etc. The house is as described , spacious, clean, with positive energy. Very friendly owners. Thank you!

Kathy was an absolute pleasure to have as a guest in our home. Would love to have her and guests stay for years to come!
Was a little warm mostly due to unusual heat wave.
It was so much fun and the host gave us so many choices of interesting things to do and see. The whale watch was one of our favorites. But in the evening playing California (card game similar to Canasta) in the sun room overlooking the marina was so fun and relaxing. All the lights and boats moving about. Thank you so much for sharing your home and experiences.
We just got home from staying a week at this house and have to say it was perfect. The house is located in a quiet area which makes for a nice place to relax. The location is close to multiple places to eat or pickup food to bring back. The house was very inviting and well stocked with everything you might need. The deck and bedrooms all have a beautiful view to the water. There is a nice area to sit and relax around a fire and there was plenty of firewood. The dining room was huge and had plenty of room for our entire group to sit down for meals together and the host was fantastic at responding back to any of our questions.
My favorite part of this home would be the dock area as there is a nice place to sit and enjoy the view or to take out the available kayaks for a paddle, but mostly because it was where my significant other decided to propose while we were enjoying a beautiful sunset. This place fantastic and would recommend to anyone ( oh and the sunrise are pretty amazing too). I know we hope to come back in the future.
This property is a perfect retreat to enjoy the midcoast of Maine. The views are serene and beautiful! The decor is clean and gives you that wonder homey coastal feeling. The roads into the property are very well maintained with easy access. The home has all of the necessities a family would need and shopping is within a reasonable drive. I would caution that if you or a family member has balance issues or walks with assisted devices the entryways into the home and property are difficult to navigate. The bathroom upstairs has a large Jacuzzi type tub / shower combo that is difficult to climb into for some. My family absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this property.
Location is great! Loved the dock, outdoor seating and fire pit. House is very well stocked with everything you need. Only negative to the trip was beds are uncomfortable.

Wonderful having Shelly and her group stay here! We'd love to have them as guests in our home again!
We loved our stay at this property. There was initially some problems when we arrived but Lisa was very responsive and help as best as she could. The rest of the trip was great. The house is very well supplied ( much appreciated if you are traveling from other states). We are big cooks and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view is amazing and dock area nice to walk and sit on. We loved the fire pit. Great at night. The beds are quite firm but it’s so peaceful there we slept well. Thank you.

So wonderful to have you! Would love to have Pamela and her family stay again and enjoy the area and our home!
Modern, well-outfitted house that is definitely upmarket compared to many alternative offerings. On the water with beautiful sunrises and bald eagles flying overhead. Gorgeous area near Round Pond with many hiking trails.
