Reviewer Comments:
The communication from the agency was frustrating to say the least, especially compared with the Airbnb we have stayed at previously. We had zero correspondence leading up to the minute we arrived in Savannah. The address originally sent to us on booking did not match the location of the unit. We tried emailing and even calling them as we could not find it driving around in circles in a not so nice area with homeless people sleeping in the alleys. We drove around for a half hour before they finally called us back. Then they acknowledge matter of factly that yes they know the address isn't correct on the building. It was listed as 105 W Oglethorp. The building is actually listed between 115 and 101 numerically. So they THEN send us the code to get into the VRBO. She explains it is at the corner of Whitaker and Oglethorp. We go to that location. ( Parking is ATROCIOUS !!!}.The code doesn't match that building so we call back yet again! .The woman says OHHH it's on the side of that intersection physically on Whitaker St??? We walk around to the side and the unit is marked 02??( That was never even mentioned btw).We got to this iron gate on this EXTREMELY busy street and it took us 20 minutes to figure out the code to get into just the small porch entrance. The buttons on the gate are hard to push in and you have to turn the knob to the right only. Once we finally figure that out. We attempt to get into the entrance door. It has a 4 digit number. Well we didn't notice the tiny print after the text you have to open that you have to push the check mark. WTH, that took us another 10 minutes to figure out. ( My friends said thank God we're not checking in at night or there was no way we could do this in the dark). Now note if you close that gate you need a third code to get out. We were so paranoid of getting locked in that we never closed the gate for the next 4 days. God forbid a fire you're trapped in this basement dwelling. We spent $2100 for 4 days. Better choices there
