Escape to The Rosé Retreat for peace and relaxation. Enjoy a romantic getaway sipping wine on the screened porch, unwind by the refreshing pool, navigate the waterways by kayak, and stroll to great restaurants/shopping. Savor local oysters and explore nearby wineries. Bring the family for a memorable NNK adventure.
We fell in love with this house and named it The Rosé Retreat, as it is meant to be a place to get away from it all. Perhaps enjoy a bottle (or more, we're not judging) of Rosé while you're here.

SECURITY CAMERA AT FRONT AND REAR DOORS: Ring monitoring camera on front & rear patio doors (facing outside only). NoiseAware monitors decibel level on screened-in porch. Does NOT record actual sounds or conversations - 100% privacy compliant.
You may wonder why these unique houses are referred to as “Tents.” Our neighborhood was designed from the history of Wesleyan Grove in Martha's Vineyard, borrowed from the "tent communities" that sprang up around 19th-century revival meetings. These Tents are charming replicas of the Carpenter Gothic Style Victorians of that time.

Cutest little house, so comfy and had everything you need. We spent each evening lounging on the back porch. It’s like a fairy tale!! We walked the trails, found the pool and the dock!! Great relaxing weekend!!
This home was beautiful, in a lovely setting, and very comfortable with everything we needed to settle in and enjoy ourselves. Tara was quick to respond to questions. This could not have been a better spot to relax for our three nights. We hope to come back.

Absolutely amazing place to send some quality time
The house is adorable. The beds are so comfortable. The surprises like snacks, wine, and note were so special and very appreciated. We had a great time. Thanks.
The Rosé Retreat was perfect for our short getaway. It was just my wife and I but it could have easily accommodated 4 more adults. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing, low key experience.
We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Retreat! The house is lovely and the hosts are so kind and attentive. Smooth check-in process and great communication. It is such a cozy home with many nooks and spaces to spread out and find just the right vibe. It is in close proximity to town while providing a serene, quiet space to kick back and relax amongst the trees with friends/family. Highly recommend!
We stayed for a short vacation. Attention to detail in very room, fully stocked. Super clean. I could not ask for such a wonderful host and stay. Fully recommend host and tent house. Vrbo stars billion in very category
Everything was exceptional from the initial contact with the property owners through checkout. The house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Tara and Roxanne left us a welcome tray of goodies as well as a bed and bowls for our dog. We have been looking at renting this property for over a year, and it was everything we expected. Would recommend highly!
Such a cute house, from the soft beds for humans and dog, to gas fireplace and a bottle of wine in the fridge. We walked the dog around the neighborhood and into Irvington to The Local. Had a great meal at Tides Inn, explored York River and Belle Isle state parks where we saw bald eagles. Had some cold days and warmer days - December is a great time to visit Northern Neck. Need more time to check out the antique malls.
My sister, nephew and I stayed at The Rose Retreat over Fourth of July while visiting extended family in the area. The cottage was perfect for the three of us and the location can’t be beat. The decor is lovely and we really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch. We didn’t cook any meals besides breakfast but the kitchen was well stocked and it was easy to find everything. Tara communicated well and even left us a thoughtful welcome tray and bottle of rose. I will definitely consider staying at The Rose Retreat again!
This adorable 'tent' was so sweet and the host provided so many extra's that made it so special! Very relaxing and peaceful, which is just what we desired!
Beautifully decorated, very comfortable home, providing plenty of spaces to gather or be alone. Hosts have thought of everything you forgot.
If you’re visiting Irvington, this is the place to stay.
Beautifully appointed cottage in the woods. Wonderful hosts. We’ll be back. Highly recommend.
