Best location! The Pullman Apt @ historic 1799 Inn

Immerse yourself in rich history while you relax in your comfortable, one-bedroom apartment with kitchenette in the in the 2nd oldest building in town. The inn is the perfect location if you're cycling the C&O, hiking the AT, or coming by train. And you'll be just steps from the world-renowned attractions of Lower Town Harpers Ferry

The Harpers Ferry train station is just across the street. A 2-minute walk brings you to the scenic confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers as well as Harpers Ferry National Park and John Browns Fort.

IMPORTANT: Trains pass by day AND night. Many guests tell us that's one of the things they love about the place, but it can be loud. It's also a very old building and you will hear noise from adjacent apartments. If the noise will bother you, please do not book this property.

PLEASE NOTE: We kindly request that guests sign our "Potomac Adventure" rental agreement within 72 hrs of booking. We'll send an email with the link to our agreement as soon as you finalize your reservation.

Parking is not provided with this apartment. There is metered parking along the street in front of the inn. It's free between 6 pm and 8 am. If you have a National Park pass, you can park for free in the train station parking lot across the street. National Park passes good for 3 days can be purchased for $20.

This suite was cozy and private. I can't give it 5 stars as I had to park at the National park and ride the shuttle back because there was no available parking near to the suite. Three hours of driving around and shuttling for parking just was just too much. It was very frustrating to me.

The location was fabulous! Close to hiking, shops, etc. the host was very available to answer questions and offer support if we needed it. The listing about the sound of the trains coming through was honest which I appreciate knowing what we’re getting into. The trains were loud, but it was fun when we could watch them go by. The place was very cute. Complete with a full kitchen. The kitchen could use a couple of good knives and a cookie sheet, but it came complete with Coffee pods, sugar, and there was even salt and pepper in there which was really nice. Thank you to Cathy for being such a nice host-my sister and I really enjoyed our hiker’s weekend!

The property was in a great location. Close to everything we wanted to see and do. We came in by train so we had no vehicle but was able to have groceries delivered from Walmart as well as having DoorDash if wanted making the stay enjoyable and convenient. The home was averagely clean - not spotless but generally acceptable for a short stay. However, there was a horrendous noise that occurred whenever the water was turned on throughout the different apartments in the home. It sounded like banging or rattling of pipes and it was hard to ignore. The owners were extremely communicative and even accommodated some special request we had asked. Overall this is an excellent place to stay.

Charming little apartment perfectly located within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do in Harper’s Ferry. We parked the car across the street on Thursday and never moved it until we left to come home. We loved being able to relax in the living area and cook a few meals in the well equipped kitchen. Loved all of the recommendations, check in and check out instructions made available in the guidebook which was emailed to us weeks prior to our stay. Very helpful in making the most of our weekend. The building includes four private apartments. This ground-level apartment features a spacious combined living area, dining area, and kitchen, as well as a separate bedroom and bathroom. Relax on the large front veranda with seating and table. The veranda is shared with other guests.
