About this property
The Haus of Pine - Lake Tahoe | Slow Vibes, Fast WiFi
Summary:
Cozy 1970s A-frame just 5 min to Lake Tahoe with private beach access & 2 min to Paige Meadows trails. Enjoy fast Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, fireplace, and deck with forest views. Year-round fun from hiking & biking to snowshoeing & sledding. Perfect for families, friends, or remote work retreats.
The Space:
Unplug the feeds. Plug into the pines.
Welcome to Haus of Pine, your cozy-cool 70s A-frame tucked deep in the Tahoe trees. She's got vintage bones, modern ease, and a whole lot of "let’s just chill" vibes. This is where you sleep harder, breathe deeper, and wear the same sweatshirt three days in a row. No judgment. Actually, it's encouraged.
Just five minutes from Lake Tahoe (with private beach access) and two minutes from Paige Meadows, a haven for hiking and mountain biking in the Summer. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and epic snowball fights in the Winter.
Come with your kids, your besties, or both. Hike if you want, nap if you need, snack like it’s a sport. Haus of Pine is here for whatever you call a good time.
🛋 The Vibe Inside
From your first cup to your last yawn, this cabin’s a whole reset—and 100% here for your cozy era.
Downstairs is your group hang zone:
Oversized flop-worthy couch
Retro wood-burning fireplace (actual firewood, not a toggle switch)
Wraparound deck with string lights, grill, picnic table & pines for days
Fully stocked kitchen with the gear to make meals, snacks, or cocktails that hit
Dining table (seats 10) for actual meals, poker, or passive-aggressive Scrabble
42” Smart TV (Netflix-ready, binge as needed)
1 full bathroom with a tub/shower combo
🛏 Where You Sleep
All four bedrooms are upstairs, giving everyone space to retreat, read, or ignore the group text. Accessed via a very cool, very not-for-toddlers spiral staircase.
3 queen bedrooms with soft bedding and windows to the trees
1 bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks (for kids under 100 lbs ONLY—seriously)
Full bathroom with walk-in shower
Smart TV in the kids bunk room + Goonies approved TV/DVD combo (DVDS provided) in one queen room
Blackout shades so you can finally sleep like a log
💡 What Makes It Easy
Wi-Fi that’s strong enough to Zoom, stream, or ghost your coworkers
Full-size washer + dryer
Board games, beach worthy books, cozy blankets, chill seating and lighting
Fans in every room (no A/C, this is Tahoe)
Driveway parking for up to 4 cars
No weird rules. Just no pets, no parties, no outdoor fires, no smoking and no adult bunk-bed incidents please.
❄️ Winter Guests
Snow happens. A lot. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and an all-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
☀️ Summer Guests
From April until the first snowfall: no outdoor fires allowed (local rules). But don’t worry—the stars still bring the heat.
STR License Number: STR22-6120
