About this property
Alpine Retreat by Hauserman Rentals
// This home is a short term rental only \\
**DOGS CONSIDERED***
This beautiful home is located in gorgeous Ward Valley, in breathtaking surroundings. The setting is unlike any other Tahoe experience; amazingly secluded with greenbelt and mountains all around, on the backside of Alpine Meadows and set in dense Tahoe National Forest area. A terrific year-round spot, this home makes your Tahoe visit feel special and unique.
Great for skiers: This property is a five-minute walk to Alpine Meadows’ Sherwood Express chair lift. (Important note: You MUST either have a season pass or purchase ski lift tickets in advance at the main lodge at the front side of Alpine Meadows; tickets are not for sale at the Sherwood Chair. The Sherwood chair may not be open, depending upon snow conditions.)
Great for hikers: There's boundless hiking access directly from house, including Tahoe Rim Trail and Pacific Crest Trail.
Great for families: Lots of room for the kids to play and highchair and Pack-n-Play available upon request.
Each bedroom features something special: The Queen bedroom located on the 1st level has a wonderful valley view of Lake Tahoe. Also on the 1st level, the west bedroom offers two twin beds, a table and chairs and doors out to the hot tub with views overlooking the valley. The third bedroom on the 1st level, the west Queen bedroom has a private entrance connected to the front stoop and covered stairs that lead to driveway/garage. The Queen master bedroom, located on the 2nd level of the home, provides lovely views of Twin Peaks.
The second floor offers a fully equipped kitchen and two dining areas. Just off of the kitchen, the living area has cozy plush furnishings, a high definition smart TV, a Blu-Ray DVD player, and satellite broadband internet. YouTube TV and Netflix are provided; guests can access all other streaming services with an account. The second level also has a full bathroom off of living/dining/kitchen areas.
The sunny deck offers amazing views, a propane BBQ, and deck furniture for outdoor dining during the summer months. Use of the 2 car garage is included. Parking is limited to 4 spaces.
*PLEASE NOTE: The loft above the kitchen is accessed by a ladder, which is NOT TECHNICALLY PART OF THE RENTAL: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. There are many stairs between the driveway and the front door at this home. Call us if you need more information about access to the property.
