Lovely home, very conveniently located! Views are beautiful and the house is very comfortable- from chairs and beds to outside furniture. The kitchen is well stocked with good pans, pots, knives and serving plates and glasses. True log cabin feel on 7 acres with privacy and deer to keep you company just steps from the town. Definitely recommend this property.
This is the perfect house if you want a beautiful view and love seeing wildlife. Being just minutes from The Rocky Mountain National Park was amazing. The house was beautiful and well maintained.
Our family had an excellent stay! The proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, and Winter Park is excellent. There is so much to do! We enjoyed the park, shopping, and renting a boat on Shadow Mountain Lake. Seven acre was well stocked with everything we could possibly need and has awesome views. We would rent again!
Our whole family had an amazing stay. This was the perfect cabin for the whole family to enjoy. This will be the first rental I'll check for in our next stay at grand lake.
We had a great family trip and would definitely return. We loved how secluded it felt/is, but yet also close to anything you may need. We went on several different hikes in the area and loved it!
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. Everything we need was available and you cannot top the views from the deck. We saw numerous animals on the property. Amazing vacation!
We had a fantastic time! There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 young children with plenty of activities for all of us without even leaving the house! A fun secret play room for the kids to games in the closets to the game room downstairs! The playset outside was perfect as well as the hottub and covered gazebo with the firepit! The house was so beautiful and well stocked! We were lucky enough to see deer, moose and plenty of cute, playful chipmunks. Even though the house is secluded, the drive to Grand Lake with its restaurants and shops was only 10 minutes away, nice to have that option. We took a day trip to Estes Park, a bit of a drive but well worth it. You do need to pay to drive through the national park though, so plan accordingly. Maureen was very responsive to all questions and concerns before and during the trip, we will definitely be back!!
The cabin was incredible! Such an easy booking process in a beautiful location. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets were so soft! We will for sure be back!
Amazing views, very clean and well maintained with helpful on the spot notes around the house, thanks to host!!Great location to skiing, hiking, shopping. The indoor games provided some great family laughs as well... and the elk herd that joined us for breakfast was a reason to wake up early treat.
This is the best vacation home that I have ever stayed at! The host was amazing, the home had everything we needed, the location was perfect, the home was absolutely beautiful. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
Vacation was picture perfect! Beautiful place and host was very attentive. I loved the fact they left a journal with detailed instructions for check in and out, tips for the stay and recommendations for activities. Everything you need is available!
The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing! A great get away and very private! Love all the scenery and wildlife! Host is very friendly and communicative! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend! Hope to be back again!
We had a wonderful stay to unwind after a tradeshow in Denver. The cabin was in a great location so close to Rocky Mountain National Park, and was clean, well-stocked, and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.
Great secluded property that feels far away but is close to everything you'd want to do in the area. My wife, father and 2-year-old son had a blast and look forward to returning to the property!
Our 10 day stay in September was great. This well appointed cabin on 7 acres allowed forpeace and quiet, and an amazing view of Shadow Mountain Lake and the mountains. We saw some elk and mule deer, and even a distant visit from a bear. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely hope to return.
