Great place in the Latin Qtr. loved the peace & quiet & the beautiful garden after long days of walking & the crowds. Our little Oasis. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!
Perfect location on the Seine just minutes from Notre Dame. So easy to walk to the Marais and San Germain des Pres The studio was very comfortable. I Ioved the garden. There was a great patisserie at the corner where I could get my morning, croissants and quiche.Alexandra treated me like family.
An absolutely wonderful apartment, in the heart of Paris! Quiet, clean, easy to check in & out. 20 second walk to the bakery with the best croissants! Loved the backyard and the super comfortable bed - everything you need to unwind from a busy day of walking around the city. Thank you Alexandra and Eric!
Perfect location right on the Seine near Notre Dame in a charming neighborhood with good restaurants and a bakery and grocery store within two blocks. The studio is small but well equipped with a lovely garden and the host is very kind and very responsive. We loved our stay here and will return on our next visit to Paris!
A beautiful, well appointed apartment with a wonderful private deck facing a beautiful garden. We enjoyed looking at the view every day and had lunch there when the weather permitted. The location is ideal for exploring the left bank and then crossing Ile de St.Louis to wander in Le Marais. Alexandra is a delight. She greeted us and explained everything and was quick to respond when we called her with questions. She is so warm and helpful. We would love to stay there again. Neighborhood has bakeries, chocolate shop and several grocery stores. Of course the high point is the Seine and views from the bridge right at the building,
"Nailed it for what we needed! Seriously loved hanging out in the garden both morning and afternoon – perfect way to start and finish the day. Super quiet and comfortable. They had everything we could ask for, and it was ridiculously close to Siene, lots of metro stops, and a gazillion restaurants!"
Excellent apartment and we loved our stay in Paris. Easy check in, and apartment has all of the basics needed. Loved the location - easy 30 second walk for baked goods, and bike stands. Really enjoyed the open doors to the garden area, very peaceful. Would gladly stay there again!
The whole experience was terrific .The studio itself is very comfortable, well located and well equipped, and stylish. The property manager, Alexandra is great and it was a nice touch to have the owner, Eric, stop by to introduce himself. Our stay was in November, so we couldn’t actually use the garden, but just being able to see it outside the large windows was wonderful.
My wife and I stayed here the week before Christmas. What a perfect little apartment to use as a home base!! There is a bakery on the corner and a chocolate shop next to the front door. You can see Notre Dame as you step out the front door, but the metro stop is 5 minutes walk in any direction, so it’s not too busy right there. Great restaurants and shopping very close.Perfect little kitchen for cooking dinner and staying in. The little terrace was perhaps the best part- a quiet little retreat from the busy city.Loved it!!!
We loved our stay in this apartment. It looks exactly like the photos! We loved walking out the front door each morning to gaze upon the river and buy our croissants from the local bakery. The garden was delightful and a lovely place to spend some downtime. We can’t wait to return and throughly recommend staying here if you want to live like a local.
I really enjoyed my stay in this studio. It was quiet and clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable longer stay. The best part was the garden! The apartment is right next to the Seine and a delicious bakery. 20-30 minutes' walk from a lot of things you'd want to see.
What an amazing, spacious unit just off the river. Beautiful garden with flowers, plenty of space with full kitchen. Best experience we've ever had in Paris. Thanks Eric.
We loved this charming property, which is exactly as photographed. Alexandra met us as we arrived, showed us around, and Eric stopped by later to introduce himself. We found the location perfect for our needs, and there are SO many restaurants/bistros/cafes within walking distance. We spent two weeks here, and we intend to return in the future. Love, love, love!
We decided to celebrate our 20th NYE together in Paris. The studio was absolutely wonderful. It was very well appointed, the bed was so very comfortable, and the location could not be better. When you walk out the front door, you immediately see the Seine and Notre Dame and if you stand in the middle of the bridge that is 50’ away, you can see the Eiffel Tower. Paris at its best!
We stayed here for the entire 2024 Paris Olympics. The place was a great location and home base during the games. We were close to excellent restaurants and sight-seeing, but also easy to get to the public transportation to the events.
The unit is very nice and the open doors and windows to the outside yard space was so great in the hot summer. The unit does not have A/C, but with it's orientation to the central courtyard and out of direct sunlight for most of the day, it was easy to keep the temperature comfortable.
The unit is well-appointed and good sized for the two of us. Eric and his support were available for help, but it was rarely needed.
A great stay for a lifetime memory.
We are profoundly grateful for our stay during the first week of June 2025—an experience that truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by comfort and charm. The location could not have been more perfect; just steps from the front door, the breathtaking view of Notre Dame welcomed us each day. With a delightful bakery on the corner providing us with fresh croissants every morning, we cherished our peaceful start to each day.We were thrilled by how accessible everything was—the metro was only a five-minute stroll in any direction, placing wonderful restaurants, cozy cafés, and inviting shops practically at our doorstep. Despite being in the heart of it all, the apartment provided a haven of tranquility. The little kitchen made it easy and enjoyable to prepare meals while the serene terrace became our favorite spot to greet each morning in quiet contentment. The apartment’s thoughtful design—with three doors separating us from the bustling street—made it incredibly quiet and restful. The lush garden, enclosed by tall walls and overlooked by only a few distant windows, offered a rare privacy for just us and the birds. We deeply appreciated discovering so many hidden local gems, from intimate restaurants to convenient grocery shopping just minutes away. This wonderful space truly deserves more than a perfect score. Thank you, Eric, for creating such a welcoming and special retreat—it’s an experience we will always remember.

Fantastic studio with private garden
Eric's studio is perfectly located in the heart of Paris, within easy walking distance to the metro, museums, restaurants and bars galore, grocery and all kinds of shopping.
Located on the ground floor facing "le cours" of a well attended residence, the studio is peaceful, tastefully decorated, and has its own garden with a trompe d'oeil wall which gives the impression of being twice the size, very much appreciated after a long day touring the city.
We were greeted by the lovely Alexandra, who was so helpful, even when we arrived very early on a Saturday morning. The apartment is spacious and very clean, the kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed to prepare breakfast or a simple dinner, plus a dishwasher and washer/dryer combination and other amenities.
I cannot say enough about this studio and will definitely consider staying here on our next trip to Paris.
The studio on Quai de la Tournelle is so fabulous on every dimension, it deserves a seven star rating. It is spacious, elegant, thoughtfully equipped and beautifully arranged. The kitchen has all the latest high-end appliances: dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, washer, dryer, counter-mounted sink with faucet-sprayer, induction stovetop, and choice of coffee makers. The L-shaped with a living area is comfortably furnished with sofa, circular movable coffee tables, end tables, armchairs, Maps carefully marked with all the restaurants, bakeries, markets and shops are on the entrance table. Lovely natural sunlight beams through windows & double doors open out onto a patio and large, private, well-landscaped, private back yard. The dining table can seat four and the queen bed is exceptionally comfortable. A great series of maps and guidebooks about Paris are in the bookcase near a cubby desk.
The location could not be better. It is across the street from the Seine the Quai combines a beautiful Parisian neighborhood in the 5th arrondissement and riverside walk. It is one block from St. Germaine, 2 or 3 from Notre Dame, & one bridge from the elegant Ile San Luis. It is walking distance from pretty much everywhere: the Musée d’Orsay, the Louvre, the Luxembourg Gardens, the shopping districts. I have visited Paris often and this is the best ever: a treasure of a place. So are the hosts. Eric & Alexandra will do everything they can to make your stay truly extraordinary.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Assez à l'extérieur, béton et mal considéré pour vivre
The maid (Eric’s language) greets guests on arrival, then ensures guests know how to use a key in a door. The address is convenient to transport & some local restaurants although be careful not to just pop in without a booking. Solo travellers/late night museum goers beware the local bistros won’t seat you after 10pm. The apartment’s entry is impressive. With fob security access making it easy to avoid being targeted at night by thieves as you quickly pop into the foyer. Appearances are clearly significant: the apartment does not fail - until you pay attention to detail. The key the maid asks you to use is somewhat annoying with its requirement to be depressed &rotated simultaneously. The wide black leather looking sofa is ever so inviting until you place yourself on it. Beware as the seemingly soft cushions will put your joints & ligaments out if you land too firmly. Firm: that’s an apt word to describe this place. The bed also looks comely. Until you turn on your side as you put your head on the solid unduly oversized cushions that are make do for a 2nd set of suitable pillows. When trying to rest, know the maid has the apartment heating so high that you will toss/turn until you are wracked with fever &flu. Not being French or having detailed apartment knowledge, it is startling to learn when so unwell that heaters can be controlled independently (various pipes in the room are not for the entire complex) & her view to “complain to her early about the heating, the bed and the sofa” as equally as “it is not possible to keep everyone happy”. When she promises she will report your concerns to Eric and revert - don’t believe it. What about the seemingly spacious bathroom? You’ll use it every day so you should understand that gap between the sink &the glass partition is no more than 20cm. Yes - that’s right - your whole adult body must squeeze through 20cm to get to the shower. The shower head switches from rainfall to hand but is unreliable. Fixed in a half on/off position, it nearly created a sprained finger to move it to one mode of operation. The lamps & streaming service are interesting. At least 1 lamp is designed for working on a car at night - with a thrown together, might spark at any time feel. Curtains are minimal, and guests blamed for defects in design/quality. BYO sugar & laundry detergent; softener is supplied. BYO facial tissues: it’s easy to use the 1 sheet in the box.

Enthusiastic guests for the past 15 years. A lot of frustration in these comments and proven dishonesty. Taxi and phone calls to Australia at our expense. Taxi bill remaining unpaid! We continue for the great pleasure of our future visitors.
