If you like to be centrally located in a quiet upscale residential neighborhood between downtown Santa Barbara and UCSB (Goleta), you will love staying in this unit.

A clean and quiet place in a beautiful setting for a Santa Barbara visit.

This is my most popular unit for visiting friends and family in SB.

Property located on 1 1/2 acres in a quiet residential neighborhood on a private drive.

This unit is part of a large home which is closed off to the main house. My living quarters is on the opposite end of the house.

This unit has its own patio entrance that leads out to a tropical landscaped garden with a panoramic distance of UCSB and the ocean.

The bistro set on your patio provides a lovely peaceful setting for morning coffee and light meals or relax and unwind during the evening.

The bedroom is 15'x12' and the kitchenette area is 5'x10', bathroom is 5'x11'.

It has a queen bed and can accommodate up to three people. A twin bed is set up next to the queen bed by taking a chair out to make enough room.

This unit is equipped with mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and hot water kettle. There is no stove or oven. Please do not bring an instant pot, portable burner etc to cook since I do not have a kitchen sink.

This unit's yard is shared with another unit when occupied and my friendly husky.

I have three vacation rentals on this property. Please inquire about my other units if your dates are not available on this unit.

A car is needed to get to the property. Parking space is provided within the property.

This is a very quiet residential neighborhood where there is no public transit close by or any businesses within walking distance.

Tucker's Grove Park and San Antonio Creek Trail is within walking distance.

5 miles from the Santa Barbara Airport.

About 40 min bike ride to UCSB

Please note this is a non smoking unit.

I do not book more than 3 months in advance for holiday weekends because I may need the whole house for family events.

Sorry I cannot accommodate any ESA animals due to safety of my family and the rest of my guests. I have a Siberian Husky who is very prey driven but loves people.

Chris was an incredible host and the room was spotless and cozy, perfect for a couple. Lacey the husky was a wonderful guest host, never intrusive and just a joy to be around! The location is perfect, just a little over 15 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and plenty within the immediate area. The property is gorgeous, we'd be back without hesitation in the future if we head back that way again!

This home is incredible, pictures do not do it justice. The host is incredible and very prepared to make your stay perfect. I felt very safe and relaxed while staying here. You do need a car, but it is worth it. The home was very clean and contained ample space, a fridge, microwave, and more. Excellent place to stay.

Wonderful property, plenty of space for 2 people who either are active and want to take in sites/events, etc. or as just a place to hang out, enjoy the view of UCSB and the Pacific from the private patio. Peace and Tranquility

The property was beautiful. The host communicated with us to make sure we arrived okay and didn't need anything. There were instructions for everything we could have had questions about. There is a sweet husky on the property that would stop by in the evening to get some pets and check in on us. We really enjoyed the peacefulness if the property. Would recommend!!

A Slice of Paradise

We came to Santa Barbara for my mother-in-law’s memorial. After staying a few days in a big home with family, we retreated to this little gem. The owner met us outside and oriented us. During our 4-night stay, we enjoyed privacy and tranquility in a beautiful setting. We had all the amenities we needed and felt completely comfortable and safe. The best part was our occasional visitor, Lacey, Chris’s friendly husky. If we ever get back to beautiful Santa Barbara, we know where we will stay again!

Beautiful Gardens and Comfortable Room

Chris was very hospitable, offering suggestions for hikes, parks and other outdoor activities. She was accommodating with my reservation change and adding another family member for one night. The room had everything we needed and had space enough for us to relax after exploring SB. We loved sitting on the patio to enjoy the beautiful gardens and view and to say hi to Lacey. Additionally, Chris’ place is convenient to everything. We would definitely stay again.
