Beautiful Waterfront Beach House for Family Vacations

PLEASE NOTE: The beach in front of the house is not private. We share the beach. Wake up to the sound of the ocean in this beautiful beachfront home with all the amenities! Perfect for family rental or extended stay for graduate students and faculty of local universities (Yale, Southern CT State University, Quinnipiac University). All the amenities you could ask for in this updated ocean view home: central heat and air-conditioning, high speed internet and wifi, cable TV, three bedrooms, 1 ½ baths and additional outside shower, gas grill on the patio, porch overlooking Long Island Sound and the beach front. The grand room on the first floor has large picture windows for an unmatched panoramic views of Long Island Sound. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare your favorite meals. Don't worry, we've got everything you need for a lobster cookout too!

Upstairs, the master bedroom is large, with a king size bed and plenty of room for a crib or Pack and Play. It even has a balcony that overlooks the sea. The other bedrooms are perfect for the kids, one has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds.

The beautiful ocean view, updated amenities, and comfortable living space are captured in the photos, but it’s best to come experience it for yourself, or ask someone that’s stayed here. This beach side getaway is in a fantastic neighborhood, close to downtown. We even have beach toys for the kids!

Beautiful view from all the front windows… everything that you could possibly need and more is provided for you in this outstanding home. Great restaurants nearby and a fish market as well!Comfy beds and plenty of seating in the living room. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood to walk around… perfect!

Perfect beach house

Our family enjoyed a beautiful sunny week steps away from the beach at this house. The location was perfect for our 2 year old twins to play at the beach for a little while and then stay close to the house without having to lug everything home. The view is priceless and very relaxing.

John was an excellent host- great communication and accommodating. House was clean and cozy. We traveled with our 14 month old daughter- there were beach toys and chairs for us to use and room darkening curtains which worked great for nap times. We utilized the kitchen for cooking and baking and it was stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful balcony off the master bedroom for coffee and watching the sunrise. House is located in a quiet community, perfect for morning walks along the water. Very friendly neighbors. Highly recommended staying at this home!

Fabulous family summer vacation!

We rented this house for our adult children and grandchildren ages 5, 7 and 10. We live on the same stretch of beach but needed the extra space. The house was absolutely perfect!! Right on the beach, gorgeous view, abundance of beach toys, floats, house games etc. Well stocked kitchen and immaculate house inside and out! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a spectacular fun filled summer vacation!!

Fantastic view

Even though the weather was rainy and cloudy, we loved our stay at this lovely place!! The view is fantastic of the ocean from the upstairs & front of the house even through the rain & fog. I agree, it’s a million dollar view!!!! John has done a great job of decorating. It felt so homey. Best equipped VRBO house we have stayed. Comforty bed. Great area to walk and look at lovely homes. I highly recommend this place!

My daughter’s family lives near by- we didn’t want to crowd them. Everything about this cottage was wonderful- clean, comfortable and location cannot be beat! Kitchen well stocked- really-wouldn’t change a thing. Want to come back when it’s warm enough to use the beach. Highly recommend

Charming cottage with million dollar view

This was the perfect place for a long weekend. John, the owner, was super - both helpful and conscientious to a fault. The house was charming and had everything one could need from plenty of fresh linens, a huge master bedroom with a killer view and free wi-fi, even a spare pullout cot for that extra guest. The private beach is small, but perfect for our small child - clean, safe and only 10 steps from the back door. We definitely look forward to the chance to stay again, and hopefully without the 2 days of rain we had. But that's not the fault of the house or the owner. Jeff

Perfect for a family

This house is absolutely perfect for a family with small children. There was so many kids toys and sand toys. It kept the kids so entertained! The little beach is so cute and wonderful for little kids. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person!

Amazing stocked and a perfect vacation!

This rental is the best one we have stayed at yet! The house was amazing stocked. All the paper goods, cleaning/laundry supplies, children's toys/books, beach toys/inflatables, bath linens, bedding, kitchen goods, etc. that you could possibly need! The location was impossible to beat, the private but, shared community, beach was just steps from the back deck. Everyone in the neighborhood was incredibly welcoming and friendly! Our stay was everything we hoped for and more!
