This home is thoughtfully furnished. With a Tempur-Pedic contour supreme king and Queen size mattress, LED TV in every bedroom, Frozen themed and Mickey themed twin rooms. This four bedroom luxury home is specifically set up for vacationing guests. The house, just three miles from Disney, is located in the 24/7 manned gated, prestigious Emerald Island Resort. So close to Disney you can hear and see the fireworks from within the resort.
Furthermore, the house is conveniently located only 1 mile from the popular tourist strip of 192, where entertainment, shopping, supermarkets and restaurants are all within minute to reach.
1960 sqft villa, offers four bedroom, 3 bathroom, two lounge areas - formal living room and family room; and two dining area - kitchen nook for breakfast and formal dining room, plentiful space for large family gathering.
TV in every bedroom. The first master bedroom suites have king size sleigh bed features Tempur-pedic contour supreme mattress, TV, en-suite bathroom equipped with walk-in shower and roman corner jetted tub. The second master bedroom suites have Tempur-pedic contour supreme mattress queen size bed, TV, en-suite bathroom equipped full size tub. Both twin rooms have two twin size beds and TV. Our home can comfortably house 8 people.
We have a private pool, a patio table with chairs on the pool deck and chaise lounge chairs for you to relax outdoor while soaking in the Florida sun. Gas BBQ Grill is readily available free to use. The pool comes equipped with a child safety fence and alarm to prevent unsupervised young children from the pool area. The Emerald Island resort also has a clubhouse sauna, fitness center, arcade, Internet cafe, Tiki-bar, 2 heated communal pools, hot spas, volleyball, tennis, basketball facilities, kiddie play areas, all at one’s disposal. Furthermore, the resort offers a shuttle service to local areas of attraction with an additional charge for stress free travel.
Your home away from home is secure, in a prestigious 24 hour manned gated community located at Disney's doorstep. It is the perfect place for one to recover from a hard day at the parks.
We have a pro size pool table and Foosball table in the garage converted game room with complementary high-speed wireless internet reaches every corner of the house. The home also has a washer and a dryer so you can enjoy a long and fun vacation with all the conveniences of your own home. Fully-equipped kitchen, which includes a range, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, Keurig coffee machine, conventional coffee maker, toaster, blender, just bring your K-cups and you are ready to start your day.
Pool heat is optional for your stay but requires an additional fee. We suggest the pool heat from November through April if you plan to use the pool.
This home is thoughtfully set up and tastefully decorated. More pictures upon request.

Overall, this property is ideally located for trips to Disney and Universal. The home is situated close to a wide variety of shopping and dining options, yet the resort itself remains peaceful and quiet. The house is comfortable and generally well-equipped, though it would benefit from some updates and a thorough deep cleaning. For the basics of our 12-day stay, it met our needs well. The clubhouse pool was a highlight and quickly became my granddaughter’s favorite spot.

Everything was fine. Make sure to bring your own toiletries such as shampoo and body wash, as only very small portions are included. Also bring your own K-cups as none are provided for the Keurig. Bed was comfortable. Great location.

Nice house that feels a little run down in places, pool heating and pump didn’t function for part of our trip and the host wasn’t as communicative as he should have been. Very few proactive updates provided without me chasing. The house needs updating and attention paid to finishing touches again. There was a leak coming from one of the toilets, some sockets didn’t work and fraying on the dryer seal which covered all clothes. Small issues throughout the property but a safe option if on a budget.

Great place to stay

This was the perfect location for our Disney trip. Was close to everything and was a very nice house. Everything was clean and just as it stayed on the listing! We would for sure stay here again when back in Florida. Thanks so much for a very pleasant stay!

‘25 Family Vacation

Went to the Disney Parks, stayed at Emerald Island Resort. Homeowner was great, home was very clean, appliances worked fine, beds and furniture was comfortable and well taken-care if. We stay at Emerald Island often, and we are looking forward to coming back as a guest at this home.

Home was clean and it was a perfect location to visit the parks easily. Property manager was easy to communicate with. The only thing that would’ve made this a 5 star is having more towels available. Unfortunately we had less than one bath towel and wash cloth available for each person in our party (one wash cloth per bathroom) and no pool towels available. While this is not a major issue, we did expect to have those available as we compare the homes we have stayed in before in Florida.

Great stay, great location and clean and tidy villa

Property was as advertised, clean on arrival and no issues contacting host. Pool was a bit dirty on arrival, and part of the screen around the pool had a gap at 1 of the panels. Contacted host to make them aware. All in all a lovely villa in a great locat, no issues and would definitely return

Nice place in a good location

Enjoyed the property! The pool was nice and maintained. Good location and close to Disney. My only disappointment was in the pack and play and the high chair (they were kinda dirty), and the high chair didn't have shoulder straps, so we didnt end up really using those, but the crib in the master were great. The wrong code was also given to us in our checkin email, so we were initially locked out, but the property manager was great even when we called her at midnight upon our arrival.

We were very thankful to be able to find this property when our other home fell through. The kids loved the Disney bedrooms and my oldest was happy that she had her own bathroom. With all of the running around we had to do for my daughter's convention, we were still able to enjoy the pool a few times and just have togetherness as a family. My husband and oldest daughter enjoyed the game room very much, but it never really did cool off out there, so they could only use it maybe 30 minutes at a time. The only hiccup we really had, was with the Tvs. They wouldnt work the night we arrived. Started working the next morning, but then they would not work again the last night of our stay. Also, you may want to have your cleaning service, etc make sure there are plenty of things such as toilet paper and that the highchair is checked after every stay. I had to clean it down before we could use it. Other than that, we had a great time! It was beautiful and it couldnt have worked out much better!

Nice house, but hot tub was unusable

We stayed 4 nights during a basketball tournament (7 games in 4 days). Our top 3 needs were: a house, a private pool, and a hot tub for post-game recovery. The home was clean and in a great location, but the hot tub was unusable, despite being clearly listed as an amenity and a key factor in choosing this property.When we asked to heat it, the host responded:“I strongly discourage you from heating the pool. Summer time… all sorts of grows thrive.”We replied that we understand about the pool, but we just needed the hot tub heated. He replied:“You can use the resort hot tub… when algae comes in at full vengents, [it] takes 2–3 times of the heating cost to bring it under control.”I asked once more for the hot tub heat, because it was that important to our stay. Host responded that:1. The hot tub cannot be heated separately from the pool2. Heating requires a 5-night minimum stay3. There’s a 50 activation fee after check-inNone of this was mentioned in the listing or booking processWhen we asked for a credit due to the misleading amenity, the host said:“The pool and tub are ‘available service at a cost,’ not a provided amenity.”This felt like a bait-and-switch with a somewhat dismissive response. We don’t mind paying for heat if needed, but it should’ve been clearly disclosed.If a working hot tub is important to your stay, you’ll want to clarify everything with the host up front. Otherwise, manage expectations; it may not be available even if listed.

Home could be amazing with a deep clean and updates. Great space but the furniture is very old and worn. The black couch is worn out, you sink when you sit down, very uncomfortable and hard to get out of. The shower in master is very large but the shower head is awful. It was super small and fixed directly to the wall, something you would see in the 80’s , needs to be updated. The carpets all need a deep clean or be removed. We had to wear our house slippers in the master bedroom at all times because of how dirty the carpet is in there. Only a comforter and sheets no blankets! We had to purchase blankets. The walls in the home need a good cleaning or repainted as well, Every baseboard had dirt and dust. Someone is NOT cleaning good. There is a channel guide on the wall and out of the 10 I tried everyone was incorrect. Needs updated. Limited towels only two per bedroom and they were old, mismatched, rough, smaller, and worn. Same with kitchen towel/rag mismatched only two and very worn out. We ended up purchasing a kitchen towel set to use. Garage was filthy, leaves, dirt, mud, and even chalk writing on the walls from prior guests. The washer and dryer are new a nice thou. The pool was nice but the furniture was awful. Made out of pvc pipes and very stained and dirty. One a positive, very quick response, easy in and out, large home, nice pool, & mattress was comfortable . Home just needs some love.

Nice Clean Property

This would have been a higher score review if not for our principals; when we arrived we quickly found there were no bath towels. There were 2 hand towels 1 dish towel. I spoke with the owner. He questioned our enquiry. He was told we had to purchase sufficient towels( $70) The following day I spoke with the property Manager to report the pool hot tub jets were not working. She advised there would be a pool repair the following day. That did not happen… in the following 7-10 days. I then discovered that same issue was documented in a past review way back in 2021. We think we should of at least been reimbursed for the towels… or even an offer made?? All in all. not huge issues. both the owner and manager were quick to reply and quite pleasant. very clean and functional property

Great place and location!

Clean. Great location to be able to hit Disney and only an hour drive to to Cocoa beach and Daytona. Pool was pristine upon arrival. Images of property are dead on, you get exactly what is shown. Only things to note is, there are no staples at all, I am used to having coffee spices, etc. at other vrbo’s and rentals (I have been using these sites for years). Typical of rentals, on pans and knives being used and abused. No working can opener and had to buy pizza cutter as knives would not even cut lettuce. Do wish they would let you know game room was not air conditioned, reading previous reviews guess that is normal for Florida but this was our first time renting in Florida. Unfortunately, we got hit by hurricane Ian and lost power at 8 pm on Wednesday and the pool got trashed when a some of the screens were ripped off. The owners were out of town so we were unable to get hold of them in a timely manner to make a decision on what to do. We ultimately decided to leave at about 1pm Thursday since we still had no power and pool was unusable. We had no clue when power would be re established or pool cleaned up since there was so much devastation in Florida. The clubhouse was still closed as well. This is definitely an exception and no fault of the owners. They have agreed to refund us one of our two days when they get back in town 10/9, which technically they did not have to do (buy insurance if you want to be covered for natural disasters). Under the circumstances, I would have refunded both days affected by the hurricane as a courtesy since there was no way to know how long it would take to clean up and restore power. It was our choice not to chance it and leave. We wanted to make the most of our last two days in Florida and go to Destin. Luckily I was in a position to pay for another Vrbo….there was time in my life I would have been stuck with no power and nothing to do.

Nice stay!

We really enjoyed the property at Emerald Island Resort! A big highlight for us was the crib as we had a 3 month old with us. It was perfect in the master bedroom and gave us peace of mind that our baby had a safe place to sleep and could still be close to us. It was a very nice crib-better than anything you could get at a hotel. The drive to Disney World was normally 15-20 minutes to each park, it would be a bit longer (30ish minutes) if we headed home at rush hour, just for planning purposes for anyone looking at the property. We felt very safe at the house and I felt comfortable running early in the morning prior to going to the parks! We all enjoyed the pool, it did not need to be heated in September! Our only small complaint is the master bedroom shower was not cleaned upon our arrival, with used washcloths on the ground and hair in the shower. My husband cleaned it. I would have contacted someone but my husband did not tell me about this until our final day he just cleaned it for us. We would definitely stay again and had a lovely stay overall :)
