Spacious 2 bedroom and loft condo, located in a quiet neighborhood. BBQ on the deck while overlooking the Sierra Star Golf Course. Condo is fully equipped for any vacation season. Living room is spacious and bright. Bedrooms are furnished with TVs, comfortable beds and individual heating.

The Woodlands complex features an outdoor pool (Summer only), jacuzzi (open year-round), sauna, and laundry facilities on-site. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a MAXIMUM of 8 people (even though there are beds for more), there are 2 levels inside, 2 outdoor parking spaces, and no smoking or pets are permitted. Guests will be provided two parking passes.

The condo was clean without being fussy. We felt at home. Mattresses were comfortable enough, and the combination of blinds and curtains kept the room dark enough to sleep in a bit. We appreciated having a crock pot in the condo as well as plenty of pots and pans.

Fantastic Townhouse in Mammoth

See my previous review of August 19 for most of my comments. We had another great stay with only a little more to add re: comfort of beds. I slept in the King bed and would rate comfort as excellent to outstanding. A different family member than our last trip slept in the Queen bed and found it satisfactory although 2 of us previously found it to be very uncomfortable. While the two identical twin beds upstairs were very good, the third twin bed was sagging and described as "poor" by an adult family member. This bed would probably be fine for kids. Bottom line: we will continue to stay in this townhouse whenever we return to Mammoth.

Townhouse Gem in Mammoth

We have stayed at this property 8 times before this trip when it was owned by someone else. Love this place, wouldn't stay anywhere else in Mammoth. The previous owner sold the place with everything still in it so it is unchanged except for a few small improvements made by the new owner. While it can get warm in the loft during the day, it cooled off at night and the ceiling fan on the lowest setting cooled us sufficiently that we were a little cold (a good thing in the summer). In addition, the cooling fan at this setting was completely silent--we couldn't hear it at all. Kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked virtually all of our breakfasts and dinners over the week we stayed. Sitting area in the great room is very pleasant and comfortable. The grounds of Woodlands complex are very well kept. Owner was very good with communication and easy to work with. The only minor nit was that a couple of us felt the queen bed downstairs sagged a little and didn't have enough padding. Another one in our family slept in that bed on a previous trip and had no complaints. The owner stated that they hadn't had any prior complaints. Comfort in beds is very individual so I would say that unless you are very sensitive (as we apparently are) this should not present a problem. We found the king bed and two of the upstairs twin beds to be very comfortable. Will we rent this unit again? Yes, we will be staying there for 6 nights at the very end of August.

We have been coming up to Mammoth for 30 years. This place is awesome year round and especially great for kids!

Why they chose this property

The Woodlands has permitless parking. Great access to the Mammoth Bus line and walking distance to the Vons grocery store. We are on the 12th green of Sierra Star Golf Course that offers great views. The unit is also walking distance to the Mammoth Creek trail. Great hiking!

What makes this property unique

The unit has tons of sunshine and plenty of sleeping space. It is equipped with everything you need for Winter or Summer.
