What a beautiful house! We stayed at Paradesia Cove for a girls weekend and it didn’t disappoint. The house was beautiful and you can’t beat the view. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and had many living spaces for our group (of 8) to hang out in. The mattresses were VERY comfortable! A great house for a larger group.
Stayed at Paradesia for three nights on a guys’ getaway (reunion of high school friends). Only three of us, but more would have been easily comfortable. The rental has the feel of a classic National Park lodge — the Old Faithful Inn or Crater Lake Lodge — though completely updated (and much smaller, of course). Call it a mini NP lodge. My favorite feature was the fabulous view of the cove, with anchored white sailboats catching the sunlight. A second favorite was the beautifully tiled walk-in shower in one of the four (as I recall) bathrooms. There’s also an excellent outdoor shower, but since we didn’t swim, we didn’t use it. We had carefully tended fires in the main living room’s fireplace. Delightful! Very thoughtful of the host to provide fire starters. Well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of towels, Adirondack chairs under shade outside, books all around, a handy guide to area restaurants and attractions … What’s not to like? Highly recommended for any well-behaved group. Families will appreciate the bunk bed, twins (I think I’m using the right word), and even a crib. Two or even three families could vacation together here. Being early in the summer, we had some gnat-like bugs trapped between a double door and its screen, but they didn’t, ahem, bug us. Comes with being Up North. My friends had hoped to be able to walk into Northport (it’s a bit too far away), but myself, I liked the separation. We felt like had the cove to ourselves. You should love this place!”
